** Cruella outliving her own son. Normally, an unfathomable tragedy...except, from what we saw of her parenting style, it’s reasonable to assume she isn’t shedding many tears, only inconvenienced by the loss of a servant. Who’s to say she didn’t even have anything to do with it?

*** Maybe Dude will become one in his honor? Not a surgeon obviously, but an intelligent dog that can speak both English and Dog would make a great diagnostician. And he does wear a vest in Carlos's colors now, so he might do far more to fill the void left by his human friend's absence.

** More a Fridge Tearjerker. Considering that the special seems to take place not long after Descendants 3, Carlos never got to fulfill his ambition of becoming a vet.

*** There’s also the fact that Franchise/TheIncredibles is Disney. Anyway, the setting is the United States of Auraudon.

Auradon. This means it might be where the United States of America is in RealLife, so it wouldn’t need to be imported.

*** Mal’s also the daughter of Hades. Not that Ben knew who her father was, but Hades is among the most evil Disney villains.

He’s not a king, he’s a prince who is basically just acting as king.

** Oh dear. Syndrome was on the Isle. Hopefully, the Barrier stopped all tech above a certain level from working (including Wi-Fi). That way, he can’t really do that much.

* Another implication from every Disney Animated Canon villain being in the same place is that there's one villain who would likely have a far tougher time than everyone else: Dawn Bellweather. She's still stuck with a bunch of predators who, unlike the ones in her world, are very much still in tune with being predators: Scar, Shere Khan, King John, and KazarWell, The Wild is considered DAC in Europe. And he's trying to be a predator. Along with a fair share of hunters like Man, McLeach, Gaston, and Clayton. For her specifically, the Isle of the Lost would be an IronicHell.

** Prince John is the same kind of animal she is. He’s evil, but not really in tune with eating prey. His predation is figurative. Also, none of those human hunters would attack a normal sheep, so she’s in exactly as much danger from them as she is from anyone else on the Isle (unless the Fantasia brooms are on the Isle: they’d literally die).

** One of the villains happens to be Hades, God of the Underworld. I think if they asked, he could have taken them out of his kingdom to have some less naggy villains. Plus there are villains like Dr. Facilier or the like stuck there.

** In addition to that, if Maleficent can't transfer herself to the island, it's all in Mal's head. The whole song and dance is representative of Mal's psyche and her conflicted guilty conscience, her struggle to determine whether she wants to live up to her mom's expectations or live them down.

** This is acknowledged in the movie by Audrey. "Look, I know your mom fell in love with a big nasty beast who turned out to be a prince. But in my mom's story, the evil fairy was just the evil fairy."

*** While that may be the case, if we remember what a previous troper said about this, let's not forget that The Isle of the Lost not only has the magical villains, but also others that relied on weaponry or even skill (Man, Mcleash, Scar, Shere Khan, etc.) to commit crimes. With the barrier down, it's only a matter of time whetever any of them decides to way for a "redemption" or follow the ways of the wicked and still be villains...
