It is currently in production - the author has no plan for an overarching plot (although he intends to make one), and the only part of this fiction to actually be written is the prologue.
The author is unsure if he wants to publish this work or not. He does know, however, that if it does become published, it will not occur until the work is finished being written and edited, which is a long way from now. Consider the trope page below a preview of what the show might be like.
