In 2003, Cosgrove Hall created ''WebAnimation/ScreamOfTheShalka'', an animated ''Series/DoctorWho'' adventure starring Creator/RichardEGrant. It was produced to mark the series' 40th anniversary, and also as a pilot for a possible revival of the series in animated form (although this fell through when Creator/RussellTDavies independently got the green light to revive the series in its original live-action format). It was also with this project that the studio started experimenting with UsefulNotes/AdobeFlash animation. The studio returned to ''Doctor Who'' a few years later, commissioned to create new visuals for the two {{missing episode}}s of the serial ''[[Recap/DoctorWhoS6E3TheInvasion The Invasion]]'' when it was released on DVD.
