* HidingBehindTheLanguageBarrier: His japanese name, Soranaki, means [[NamesToRunAwayFrom "Empty Sky" or "Sky Decease."]] [[spoiler:Its also an alternate reading for Kuuten, or "Empty Heaven."]]

* MenInBlack: Wears a black suit and fedora and is an agent for the BigBad Ghoulfather.

A massive Yo-kai that holds the appearance of a dark sun with a red eye in the center and is surrounded by a mass of purple clouds. He is the main antagonist of "Yo-kai Watch 4." [[spoiler:He was once a Yo-kai named Kuuten, a loyal servant to Princess Shuka, who he also fell in love with. Later, after finding out that Kuuten supposedly had plans to kill Shuka's father, she had her guards lock Kuuten up in an underground dungeon where he grew full of hatred, thus becoming Soranaki.]]

The BigBad of the first game, who took control of the Yo-Kai world after King Enma passed away (Yo-kai live a long time, but they can still die). Mc Kraken Is a squid-themed Yo-Kai that dreams of taking over the human world with an army of monochrome Yo-Kai destroying those that will go against him. After defeating Dr. Maddiman, Draggie's crystal ball shows the heroes him addressing his legion, leading to confronting him in the Yo-Kai world itself [[spoiler: and later at the sacred tree, where he transforms into a Grotesque OneWingedAngel form.]]

[[spoiler: Within the Infinite Inferno, you get to meet his ancestor, Squisker, who is a tougher version of his second form.]]

* EvenEvilHasStandards: As much of a dictator as he was and how unnecessary his cause was, he still wanted what he thought was best for Yo-Kai everywhere, had his monochrome soldiers hang out with the populace in the Yo-Kai World, and even helped [[PetTheDog clean the gates with the Oni Guardians.]]

* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler: After being beaten the first time, he manages to break the seals between the two worlds, absorbing their aura to become a crazy-looking head monster.]]
* PetTheDog: The credits show him helping the Oni's clean off one of the three gates with a towel and being annoyed at them fumbling about.
* PromotedToPlayable: The Nintendo Swtich port of Yo-Kai Watch 1 includes a code that allows him to be befriended in Yo-Kai Watch 4. Now he can battle along side Nate an the others.
* PungeonMaster: He REALLY loves to make puns based on cephalopods, to the point that he ''really'' tries too hard to work it in every other sentence and bugs Whisper[[spoiler: even as he's dying.]]

* WeCanRuleTogether: Towards the end of the game [[spoiler:he offers Whisper and the other Yo-Kai a chance to rule the world with him. Naturally they declined.]]

[[spoiler: When she was human, she was falsely accused of a crime and sentenced to life in prison, and died of old age there. After revealing this under Tattletell's possession, she goes OneWingedAngel and becomes Dame Demona (Subete Ubaune), an even huger, monstrous version of herself.]]

* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler:In ''Psychic Specters'' postgame, you can visit her in her cell in the Infinite Inferno and, after a sidequest, give her a special item that signified the bond between her and her lover back when she was human. The realization that her lover never stopped loving her is enough to purify her, turning her into a friend of Nate/Katie and teaching them how to befriend Wicked Tribe Yokai.]]

* MeaningfulName: Her name can be read as "Time Thief". [[spoiler: The name of her second form can be read as "Everything Thief".]] Her English name meanwhile sounds like 'dead time' [[spoiler:reflecting how she lost everything after being falsely accused, dying of old age in prison, and why she wants to do the same to humanity.]]
* YouCantThwartStageOne: As soon as the movie starts, she's changed history by manipulating events in the past, erasing the Yo-Kai Watch and people's memories. its only when the heroes time travel themselves that her grand scheme slowly begins to unravel.

* SealedEvilInACan: [[spoiler:Their final fate. After failing to stop Nate/Katie from purifying Dame Dedtime, Bronzlow accidentally breaks their time stones, trapping them in a stasis prison]].
* WeaksauceWeakness: The giant clock that they control to reverse time can be [[spoiler: easily made to fall apart by spraying water on it. Luckily for them (but unfortunately for the heroes), Bronzlow knows how to fix it]].

* AFatherToHisMen: He cares deeply about the members of his Ghoulfmaily like they are an actual family. It not surprising he cares deeply about them since unlike [[spoiler:his parents who abandoned him,]] they stayed loyal and stuck by him to the end.

The main antagonist of Yo-kai Watch Blasters, Whisped Cream is a large Boss Yo-kai resembling Whisper [[spoiler:which was behind turning three Nokos into an Slimamander, and crashed the King of Blasters tournament to seize and depower all the competing teams (except the heroes, who were coincidentally busy fighting Mass Mutterer and thus did not have time to get to the arena). He first appeared 60 years ago and was fought by the Blasters' Legend Team in the Infinite Inferno, and lost most of his power there, promising vengeance thereafter.]]
Notably, he's the prime example of a Yo-kai looking ''very'' different in the games, as he resembles the [[Franchise/{{Ghostbusters}} Stay Puft Marshmallow Man]] in Japan, and had to be reworked in both artwork AND 3D game model (except in ''Wibble Wobble'') to avoid copyright issues; in Western territories he resembles Whisper crossed with Franchise/{{Godzilla}}.

Three mysterious Yo-kai from the second set of games who work under their Mistress, Dame Dedtime. Using a giant clock they are able to summon to travel through time, The three continuously send the main characters back through time to try and change events so that Nate/Katie never got the Yo-Kai watch, and therefore not interfere with their own plans.
