Horus was the first of the primarchs and The Emperor's most favored son. He was tempted by Chaos and turned against his father and the Imperium he once served. His tragic story can be read in the ''Literature/HorusHeresy'' series.

Magnus joined the Thousand Songs on Fenris for a full-scale assault on the Space Wolves, but that ended with the Sons being routed and Magnus defeated in hand-to-hand combat.

* {{Hypocrite}}: When Roboute Guilliman denounced Alpharius' tactics, he pointed to his legion's admittedly illustrious record to prove that he was right, essentially telling Alpharius that he would never be able to top that. Never mind the fact that this massive, illustrious record came, not from a certain tactical doctrine, but rather from having a ''200 year headstart'' over Alpharius.
