!!! Bron Breakker (Bronson Rechsteiner) 2024-
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bron_breaker_nxt.png]]
* TheAce: Considered by many to the by far the best thing to come out of NXT 2.0 going into the new White and Gold era, Bron is huge and monstrously strong, ''absurdly'' agile for a man his size (capable of easily doing both the family signature Frankensteiner and a ''standing moonsault''), technically sound as a grappler, and highly charismatic in the Steiner family's characteristic borderline-insane way. At ''26.'' Tellingly, he has so far been the only White and Gold alum to receive a world championship match on the main roster, specifically against established legend Wrestling/SethRollins, as of late 2023.
* AlliterativeName: '''Br'''on '''Br'''eakker.
* AnimalMotifs: Dogs. His entrance graphic as of Spring Breakin' 2023 shows a "Beware of Dog" sign before changing to a text reading "I got that dog in me". His heel theme also incorporates dog barking, and he called his and Baron Corbin's tag team "the Wolfdogs".
* BoisterousBruiser: Ironically, during his face run Bron was an ultra-serious competitor with minor moment of levity, but only after turning heel he's unleashed his inner goofball, becoming excitable during his partnership with Baron Corbin and providing comedic moments with his moxie.
* EarlyBirdCameo: He's one of the zombies in the lumberjack match between Wrestling/TheMiz and Damian Priest.
* {{Expy}}: He may be Rick's son and definitely got the athletic ability, but his look and promo style are almost all [[Wrestling/ScottSteiner Uncle Scott.]] Heck, if you pull up a Bron Breakker promo next to a Scott Steiner promo, their cadences and voices even sound similar. This has gone up to eleven since his heel turn, which seems to be a straight-up adaptation of the musclebound, terrifyingly intense loose cannon that Scott portrayed in his prime on TV (and not just there according to many accounts).
** Ironically some of his moveset has been taken from Wrestling/{{Goldberg}} of all people, who was a frequent enemy of his uncle Scott. He even has a Goldberg-like tattoo on his left shoulder.
* FaceHeelDoubleTurn: On the first NXT after ''Stand and Deliver 2023'' when a rather gracious Carmelo Hayes called him out to give him his respect as a WorthyOpponent, Breakker congratulated Hayes for his NXT Championship victory before swiftly attacking both Hayes and his confidant Trick Williams, cementing a FaceHeelTurn for Bron and a HeelFaceTurn for Trick and Melo.
* FamilyUnfriendlyViolence: Ended up in a feud with Von Wagner after his heel turn that culminated in him beating the hell out of Wagner, then ''squashing Wagner's skull in between the two pieces of the ringside stairs.'' NXT didn't even show it, [[GoryDiscretionShot the screen cutting to black at the moment of impact.]] In an online-only extra, Wagner was stretchered off and hasn't been seen since. This earned Breakker so much hate from the fans that his subsequent PLE match with Wrestling/BaronCorbin saw Corbin, [[LoveToHate one of the company's biggest heat magnets over his career]], getting babyface heat.
* FinishingMove: A gorilla press powerslam and the Steiner Recliner.
* HairTriggerTemper: Shades of it were seen even as a babyface but now that he's turned heel, he's far more volatile.
* HollywoodSpelling: Presumably because this made the name easy to trademark, but Breakker having two 'K's was a source of discussion and derision for a while.
* HotBlooded: Definitely inherited the Steiner family intensity. To go with being young and relatively inexperienced. Some opponents have used this against him.
* IKnowMaddenKombat: He's a former NFL fullback, and he incorporates some football maneuvers into his wrestling style.
* ManlyFacialHair: Accentuating his [[FaceHeelTurn new villainous outlook on life]], Bron grew out his already-masculine goatee into a full, sinister-looking black beard.
* MeaningfulName: He calls himself Bron Breakker as a nod to his mentality on the football field of being out to break his opponents in half to get them out of his way; a nod extended by the existence of several semi-pro level sports teams in the United States who franchise name is the Breakers. It also contains a subtle nod to his background as the scion of the Steiner Brothers, as "break" is a synonym for "wreck", which sounds exactly like "Rech", the forgotten part of the Steiner surname.
* MythologyGag: Despite not directly using the Steiner name, there's something of a RunningGag of others making several references to Bron being related to the Steiner Brothers, especially his uncle Scott, with various degrees of subtlety. He wrestles in a wrestling singlet (like the brothers did during their tag team days), his entrance theme begins with a siren, he got insulted by [[Franchise/ChildsPlay Chucky]] on a ''Halloween Havoc'' edition of NXT in a manner similar to what his father went through on an episode of WCW's ''Nitro'' and Johnny Gargano once called him the "Big Bad Booty Nephew" (after his uncle's "Big Bad Booty Daddy" moniker). He has also been on both ends of a reference to Scott's infamous "Steiner Math" promo: Tommaso Ciampa once told him that he had a 33 â…“ chance of beating him for the NXT Championship, and once champion, Bron told Ilja Dragunov and JD [=McDonagh=] that if they had a triple threat match, each one of them would have (you guessed it) a 33 â…“ chance of winning.
* WrestlingFamily: He's the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of the (in)famous Wrestling/ScottSteiner. Following the Steiner Brothers' induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, his father was incorporated into his feud with Joe Gacy, with the progressive cultist attacking Rick to get to Bron.

* CarpetOfVirility: Sports noticeably thick chest hair along with his beard.
* CatchPhrase: "To... the... MOON!"
* DeepSouth: Is from North Carolina and sports a noticeably thick accent.
* FinishingMove: The Cave-In, a GoombaStomp quick enough to make it an effective OneHitKill.
* HeelFaceTurn: He came out to protect Ted [=DiBiase=] from [=LA=] Knight's attack, establishing himself as a heroic character.
* MeaningfulName: "Grimes" refers to his physical, one could almost argue 'dirty' style of wrestling. "Cameron" is a ShoutOut to his birthplace of Cameron, North Carolina.
* MoneySong: His newest theme song, "Stackin' Money", basically tells the listener about how he got his wealth.
* NouveauRiche: He managed to get rich by investing in [=GameStop=] and Dogecoin, getting so much money that he doesn't know what to do with it and just throwing wads of cash away.
* OhCrap: When it was announced that Grimes would be going one-on-one in a "Haunted House of Terrors" match with resident CreepyGood StalkerWithoutACrush Dexter Lumis, Grimes' ever-present shit-eating grin slid off his face ''instantly.''
* RedBaron: "The Technical Savage".
* SignatureMove: The "Collision Course", a Fallaway Moonsault Slam. It's usually used as a [[AntiAir counter to the crossbody]].
* SitcomArchnemesis: Wrestling/TedDiBiase has shown up as one for Grimes in his new gimmick-- [[HesBack much to the delight of longtime WWE fans.]]
* SquashMatch: Uncommonly for non-monster heel types, he's been on the giving end of a couple of these. Once beat Sean Maluta with [[OneHitKO one move]] in just under 8 seconds.
* {{Troll}}: His heel character is basically a country boy with an extremely loud mouth that likes poking the proverbial bear.
* VisualPun: Showed up in a Halloween party segment dressed as an astronaut. Think about it.

!!! Grayson Waller (Matt Farelly) 2023-
* BattleCouple: For a while, he got a program with his on-screen girlfriend Tiffany Stratton.
* BoxingBattler: His attire is inspired by boxing shorts, and he uses several mannerisms that wouldn't be out of place in that sport.
* FaceHeelTurn: With a horrific beatdown on Wrestling/JohnnyGargano-- which also served as the longtime NXT stalwart's last appearance on the show.
* HateSink: His annoying and entitled attitude, cowardliness, and his brutal attack on Wrestling/JohnnyGargano have made him the most hated man in NXT. Other heels despise Waller, and even Wrestling/WadeBarrett, who is normally willing to defend any sort of terrible action, is openly [[EvenEvilHasStandards disdainful]] of Waller.
* LandDownUnder: From Australia.
* MadeOfIron: At ''War Games 2021'', he went through an utter load of punishment, being completely brutalized by Pete Dunne, LA Knight, and Wrestling/TommasoCiampa, yet he still managed to pull through.
