* PuzzleBoss: Unlike most {{Flunky Boss}}es, taking out their minions is a double-edged sword. If at least one of the minions is injured, Haze Fairy will target them for percentage-based healing. If the boss is the only one left, they'll target themselves for percentage-based healing, making the boss battle take longer to finish on higher difficulties.

The dark creatures found within the otherworldly labyrinths. [[spoiler:They are the ones responsible for the "earthquake" that devastated Tokyo, Morimiya in particular, 10 years prior.]]

!!Menace/Dynast Ogre

Ogre-type Elder Greed, the first type of Elder Greed encountered. The Menace Ogre was stalking Shiori in Chapter 1, whilst the Dynast Orge is fought by Yuuki and Sora after it kidnapped a member of the boy's karate club in Side-Story 4.
----
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:Menace appears on the streets during the Final Chapter]].
* DegradedBoss: [[spoiler:The Ogre-type Greed in the After-Story's final dungeon]].
* PaletteSwap: Dynast has blue veins instead of red, which goes along with how it has a freezing attack in place of Menace's explosion.
* StarterVillain: The first Elder Greed that Kou, as well as the player, fights.
* WarmUpBoss: The Menace Ogre is the first boss of the game, and pretty much teaches the player to use dodge roles to effectively avoid attacks. The boss fight also serves as an introduction to X-Strikes, as once its health bar is depleted, it'll not go down until you use Asuka's X-Strike to finish it off.

!!Gold Harpy

Fought by the White Shroud in Side-Story 1.

!!Dread/Resonance Golem

Golem-type Elder Greed. The former kidnaps Sora in Chapter 2, whilst the latter causes a malfunction in an alarm clock during Chapter 6.

!!Glare/Gust Phantom

Phantom-type Elder Greed. The Glare Phantom kidnaps Chiaki of the girl's karate club in Chapter 2, whilst the Gust Phantom is fought by Shio and Mitsuki in Side-Story 5.
----
* AttackItsWeakPoint: When the Glare and Gust Phantoms take enough damage, they'll collapse on the ground and expose their cores for a short time, allowing you the opportunity to inflict more damage on them while they're defenseless.
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:The Glare Phantom is fought again in the Pillar of Darkness, alongside the Astral Widow]].
* DegradedBoss: [[spoiler:The Phantom-type Greed in the After-Story's final dungeon]].
* DualBoss: [[spoiler:It is fought alongside the Astral Widow in the Pillar of Darkness.]]
* TheHeartless: The Glare Phantom is a more straight example than most other Greeds, being the literal manifestation of Chiaki's jealousy and resentment towards Sora.
* PaletteSwap: Gust is colored green where Glare was purple. Fittingly, it's attacks appear to be wind-based.

!!Nefertis

Fought by Sora and Asuka in Side-Story 2.
----
* ShockAndAwe: It primarily uses lightning spells to attack.

!!Haze/Arc Fairy

Fairy-type Elder Greed. The Haze Fairy is essentially steals the consciousness of Aoi, Yuuki's older sister, in Chapter 3, whilst the Arc Fairy caused a malfunction in a TV set during Chapter 6.
----
* FlunkyBoss: They'll start the fight by spawning normal Greeds into the arena. However, unlike later bosses, they'll never respawn them once they're killed.
* TheMedic: Both the Haze and Arc Fairies have a healing spell that they can use to recover from damage. But not only can they use it on themselves, they can also use it on other enemy Greeds to keep them in the fight. When they become {{Degraded Boss}}es later in the story, [[ShootTheMedicFirst taking them out first is a high priority]].

!!Astral Widow

An Elder Greed that takes Aoi's consciousness after the Haze Fairy's defeat in Chapter 3.
----
* AttackItsWeakPoint: It's weak point is it's head, so attacking it will do more damage than the main body.
* BigCreepyCrawlies: Takes on the form of a giant spider. Even Yuuki remarks it as being a "literal bug" in the system.
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:It is fought again in the Pillar of Darkness, alongside the Glare Phantom]].
* DegradedBoss: [[spoiler:The Widow-type Greed in the After-Story's final dungeon]].
* DualBoss: [[spoiler:It is fought alongside the Glare Phantom in the Pillar of Darkness.]]
* ShieldedCoreBoss: The Astral Widow will power itself up with beacons spread throughout the arena. If you take out the active beacons, the boss will become weak and collapse on the ground for a short while, allowing you to deal more damage to it.
* TheVirus: It’s the reason Yuuki’s God’s App had become evil, giving people bad fortunes.

!!Vampyre

Fought in Side-Story 3 by Asuka, [[spoiler:in her transformed state]].

!!Blade Rex

Fought after Shio was thrown into a labyrinth by Akihiro in Chapter 4.

!!Dark Delphinium

A giant plant-like Elder Greed that holds Akihiro hostage in Chapter 4. It is also the boss of the demo.
----
* AttackItsWeakPoint: It's weak point is it's head, which it will bring down periodically when it attacks the player. Once it takes enough damage, it'll collapse on the ground and expose it's head for a short time, allowing you to deal more damage to it.
* FlunkyBoss: Has two Beak Greeds fighting alongside it. Even if you take them out, they'll respawn overtime.
* PivotalBoss: Due to being too gigantic, the Dark Delphinium stays in one place for the whole fight. However, it will turn itself to face the player when it attacks.
* UniqueEnemy: No other Greed is like it in any level before this boss or after it.

!!Malice Claw

A shadowy hand-like Elder Greed fought during Chapter 5.
----
* GiantHandsOfDoom: The Malice Claw is an Elder Greed in the form of a giant demonic human hand, complete with long finger claws and an eye located on the palm. There are two of them; the right hand and the left hand respectively. Asuka pursues the right hand and manages to defeat it offscreen [[spoiler:before getting kidnapped by the Mist Witch]], while Kou and the others are left behind to fight the left hand.

!!Abyss Hound

A "black dog" Elder Greed fought by Kou and Mitsuki in Chapter 5.
----
* {{Hellhound}}: It's a giant demonic dog Greed, and one of the Mist Witch's familiars.
* RecurringBoss: Averted. Shows up for round two in the dungeon Asuka's trapped in, but it gets killed by another Elder Greed.

!!Chaos Raven

A "demon bird" Elder Greed that held Asuka hostage in Chapter 5.
----
* BaitAndSwitchBoss: Kills Abyss Hound when it shows up a second time, and then fights with the party.
* BlowYouAway: It'll attack by generating three tornadoes and send them your way.
* TacticalSuicideBoss: The Chaos Raven will frequently fly into the air and attempt to dive down onto you from above. But the moment it crashes onto the ground, it'll be wide open for a few seconds as it tries to get back up, allowing you to lay some hits on it.

!!Mist Witch

An S-Rank "Fable-class" Grim Greed based on a story about a witch. She turns Morimiya Academy into a nightmarish castle-esque labyrinth in Chapter 5 and is the master of the Malice Claw, Abyss Hound, and Chaos Raven. She’s also the Greed shown in the opening intro to each chapter.
----
* BarrierChangeBoss: Switches between non-elemental and fire-elemental.
* ClimaxBoss: She's the first real test for the party that show how high the stakes are when a Grim Greed is around.
* DoppelgangerAttack: As the fight progresses, the Mist Witch will spawn two clones of herself in the arena, and they'll all perform the same attacks as her at the same time. The clones themselves are weak when compared to the main boss, so they can easily be taken out. However, she'll periodically respawn them each time when she switches her elemental affinity.
* InterfaceScrew: She'll occasionally cover the whole arena in fog, which reduces your visibility.
* PetalPower: One of her attacks is raining rose petals on the ground, which erupt into barrages of deadly thorns.
* PlayingWithFire: She'll send a flurry of fireballs at you in a circular motion.
* StormOfBlades: One of her attacks is sending a barrage of red swords at you, and with her clones, the amount of swords fired is tripled.

!!The Five-Tailed Fox

A fox-like monster fought during the Intermission. It may or may not be an Elder Greed.
----
* BarrierChangeBoss: Changes its element throughout the fight. It loses a tail after each element change; it has 5 for its Fire form and by the Shadow form it's down to 1.

!!Dark Avalon

Fought by White Shroud and Combat Suit in the Intermission's Side-Story.
----
* HeadlessHorseman: The Dark Avalon is a headless armored figure riding a demonic horse.

!!Alter Angel

Fought in Chapter 6.
----
* DualBoss: More like "Trio Boss," as you step in to fight 3 of them at once [[spoiler:when assisting Mitsuki and Rion in the Pillar of Eternity.]].

!!Seraph of Despair

An angel-like Grim Greed fought at the end of Chapter 6, surpassing even the Mist Witch in power. [[spoiler:She was hiding inside of Rion for the past decade, and is likely the only reason why she recovered from her injuries]].
----
* DegradedBoss: [[spoiler:Aside from multiple black variants appearing in cutscenes prior to the final dungeon, it also has weaker variants (likely S-Greed) appearing in the After-Story's final dungeon. This didn't even happen to the witch, and it's supposed to be weaker]].
* FlunkyBoss: The Seraph of Despair will periodically spawn in normal Greeds in the arena as she takes damage.
* OurAngelsAreDifferent: She's an Angel-type Grim Greed who feeds off of people's despair, [[spoiler:and was hiding inside Rion for ten years until Mikuriya forced her out and brought her under his control.]]
* RainOfArrows: One of her attacks is firing a barrage of arrows at you.
* SpikesOfDoom: She'll frequently deploy spikes on the floor. And as she takes damage, the spaces in-between each spike trap to safely avoid them will diminish until the entire floor becomes covered in spikes, forcing you to adapt by using air skills to dodge.

!!Noa Grendel

Fought by Rion and Asuka/Mitsuki in Side-Story 6.
----
* DegradedBoss: Played with; within ''eX+'' itself, this is played straight, as you don't encounter other Grendel-type Greed until the final chapter. From an out-of-universe perspective, however, it's {{Inverted|Trope}}; the weaker Grendel-types were in the original game, making Noa more of a "Promoted Mook" instead.

!!E=Crimson/E=Celsius

Elemental-type Elder Greeds appearing in Chapter 7. E=Crimson is a Fire Elemental that caused the Takahane HQ to catch on fire, whilst E=Celsius is a Spirit Elemental who was fought by Kou, Sora, and Mitsuki after freezing the Memorial Park lake.
----
* DualBoss: Again, more of trio boss. [[spoiler:You fight both E=Crimson and E=Celsius alongside a Jormungand in the Pillar of Refinement.]]
* AnIcePerson: E=Celsius' specialty, due to being a Spirit Elemental. It has the ability to flash-freeze lakes during the summer.
* PlayingWithFire: E=Crimson's specialty, due to being a Fire Elemental. It can conjure up flames that can burn indefinitely and cannot be put out by normal means, not even with water.
* TheUnfought: There was a Wind Elemental that appeared before these two that tore up Yanagi's sports store, but it was destroyed by [[spoiler:Gorou]] before the party ever saw it.

!!Jormungand

An Elder Greed that seems to be a dragon that acts like an earthworm. It is fought in Chapter 7.
----
* CollapsingCeilingBoss: The Jormungand will occasionally create earthquakes that can cause rocks from the ceiling to fall onto the arena.
* DegradedBoss: It becomes a standard enemy type after this battle.
* DishingOutDirt: Due to originally being a Steel Elemental, this is its specialty. Its main ability is burrowing underground to attack the party from below.
* DualBoss: Again, more of trio boss. [[spoiler:You fight a Jormungand alongside both an E=Crimson and E=Celsius in the Pillar of Refinement.]]
* MixAndMatchCritters: The Jormungand is a bizarre mix between a dragon and a sand worm.
* OneWingedAngel: It used to be a Steel Elemental, but it transformed into this [[spoiler:due to its close proximity to the Breed of Dawn.]]

!!Breed of Dawn

A 3S-rank Grim Greed fought at the end of Chapter 7. Originally referred to as the "Breed of Twilight" by the X.R.C, [[spoiler:due to its relationship with the Twilight Apostle]].
----
* CognizantLimbs: The boss has multiple targets across its body, which are its front and hind legs, as well as its head. They're all protected by thick armor, so you'll have to destroy the armor first in order to get at the weak spots.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: The Breed of Dawn is presented as a major threat due to being related to the [[spoiler:Twilight Apostle]], so the game sets it up as being the last challenge for the X.R.C. to overcome in order to save Morimiya City. [[spoiler:However, as soon as they defeat it, their victory becomes short-lived when Kou receives a startling phone call from Shiori. And all of a sudden, Morimiya City becomes engulfed in a large Eclipse never seen before. Turns out the Breed is just a Kin, and the true threat lies elsewhere.]]
* MechanicalMonster: Takes on the form of a mech/beast hybrid after it fuses with a [[HumongousMecha Valiant Gear]].
* SealedEvilInACan: The Breed of Dawn was sealed away beneath Station Square ten years ago in the wake of the [[spoiler:Tokyo Twilight Disaster.]] However, both [[spoiler:Gorou and the White Shroud]] want to release it out into the open again, which does not sit well for the X.R.C. who're trying to prevent the same disaster from happening. [[spoiler:Turns out that the reason they wanted to release the Breed in the first place was so they can destroy it themselves, which unfortunately backfires, leaving the X.R.C. to finish the job.]]
* ShockwaveStomp: When you approach its legs, it'll react by stomping on the floor and creating shockwaves. It'll also jump high in the air and land with so much force, it'll generate a large shockwave across the floor.
* TurnsRed: When a third of its health remains, it'll shed whatever armor it has left, [[BarrierChangeBoss constantly change its body color to reflect its current elemental affinity]], and become more faster and aggressive. It'll also start using Hollow Quakes as an attack.

!!Galon/Seediq/Azure Guardians

Elder Greed that serve as guardians of the 3 pillars in the Final Chapter.
----
* GateGuardian: All three bosses serve as guardians who maintain the barrier protecting Pandora, [[spoiler:aka Acros Tower]]. Naturally, defeating them will cause the barrier to weaken and eventually collapse, allowing access to TheVeryDefinitelyFinalDungeon.

!!Seraph of Darkness

A Grim Greed of the same type as the Seraph of Despair. It only appears in the Pillar of Oblivion eclipse in New Game+ during the Epilogue.

* BonusBoss: Within the original and eX+, since this thing only appears in New Game+.

!!Avalon Drozer

An Elder Greed of the same type as Dark Avalon, appearing in the After-Story. It is assaulting Rion and Towa when they are saved by Kou, [[spoiler:Jun, and Ryouta]], assisting the former in fighting it.

!!Ix Zorva

A Grim Greed of the same type as the Grua trio, appearing in the After-Story. It is fought by the party as they stop its assault on Asuka [[spoiler:and Shiori]], with the former joining in.
