Thus, along with building up his new life, Lloyd has to also go about repairing his reputation. He does this mostly through his construction projects that provide better lives for the people, but he also learns how to properly fight; gaining a reputation as someone who fights with a shovel. The System also provides him with a group of familiars that support him at every turn, whether it be for construction or battle.

* SummonMagic: Lloyd pretends to be someone capable of this in order to explain where the little familiars that help him out with construction came from. He used reputation points to purchase new familiars from the System. After the familiars are summoned into Lloyd's world, however, the familiars actually stick around permanently. Since the familiars are small, they tend to hide within Lloyd's clothing until the times come for him to bring them out.

* MeanBoss: He also harassed and abused of the staff working on the Frontera mansion.

* HiddenDepths: As a knight his swordsman skills are slightly below average at best but it turns out that he actually has an incredible talent for logistics and project management. Lloyd believes that if Bayer had been born in Korea he could have easily been the managing director of a large corporation.

* ChemicallyInducedInsanity: [[spoiler:Her descent into villainy as the "Dark Queen" in the original novel wasn't just caused by the trauma of betrayal. It was caused by a side-effect of the poison itself, even after she forced most of it out of her body. In the new timeline, Lloyd and Javier's intervention reduces the effects and slows them down, but does not actually stop them.]]

* IndyPloy: Lloyd is great at coming up with plans on the fly, whether it's making modifications to a building project, figuring out a way to deal with a rampaging monster, or how to convince others to give them money. His reputation for ingenuity gets to the point that Alicia starts throwing him at every problem she can't solve, believing (rightfully so) that he'll figure something out.

* FaceOfAThug: Normally his face is pretty average but he is prone to making absolutely demonic expressions, it's so bad that a being from hell called his face scary.

* HateSink: He has no real redeeming quality. He never helped his parents, was a BigBrotherBully to Julian, and had no empathy for his own subjects. Lloyd spent his days doing nothing but laze around and get himself drunk at the tavern. [[spoiler:Little wonder his soul ended up in Hell after Suho takes over his body.]]

* ButtMonkey: After he becomes a debt slave, Lloyd occasionally takes the opportunity to make sadistic fun of him, such as by cheerfully informing him that it won't be a problem for him to work off the debt since he will be raised as an undead after his natural lifespan is used up.
