* AxCrazy: He tells Hammond he's actively looking forward to murdering police officers when they go to bust Jake out of a prison van. Later on he massacres unarmed police officers with an assault rifle and describes it as "a laugh".

* GreaterScopeVillain: His gang initially seems to play a background role but is one of the biggest antagonistic forces upon further scrutiny. His increasing power in the first game is one of the reasons Jolson resorts to his insane sociopathic plan. He also causes much of the chaos with the police in Frank's story and by the second game he is directly driving most of the serious arms dealing crime from the shadows.

* {{Jerkass}}
{{Jerkass}}: Deeply corrupt, self-serving and he treats everyone around him like crap constantly.

*AntiHero: [[spoiler: She is quick to turn on Jolson when she first gets a chance, is [[WouldNotHurtAChild clearly upset at the idea of Alex being hurt by her old employers]] and shows a disdain for violence against innocent people. Despite her natural distrust for the law, she also never tries to harm Officer Carter.]]

* ConditionedToAcceptHorror: It's implied she used to work as a stripper and escort at a nightclub visited in the game. One of the women in this same club, performing Yasmin's old job no-less, is brutally killed in a shootout between criminals. Yasmin doesn't react to this with any emotion, instead she coldly tells Mark she must wear the dead woman's clothes to get to Jolson and kill him.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: Seems to be what drove or forced her into becoming a killer.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Despite a (very recent) past life as a ProfessionalKiller, Yasmin is appalled by the needless murder of [[spoiler: Suzie]] and views [[spoiler: her old boss Jolson]] as deeply evil and perverted. She also seems to have no affection for the other members of the Bethnal Green Mob, regarding them as sleazy and mindlessly violent.

* TheAtoner: [[spoiler: It's clear she has no affection for Charlie Jolson and wants him dead for all he's done, as well as his planned hit on her. Many of her worst actions seem to have been done under some kind of duress. As the game goes on it becomes apparent that she feels guilty for her violent past, and perhaps wishes to help Mark save his son as penance for her actions.]]
* WouldNotHurtAChild: [[spoiler: While she initially participates in the kidnapping of Alex, she quickly becomes appalled when she realises Jolson genuinely plans to kill him.]]

* DroppedABridgeOnHim: Despite considerable buildup as a prominent (and pretty nasty) member of the gang through the game, Eyebrows is quietly and suddenly killed offscreen in a shootout with Yasmin. It's unclear if this was intended from the start or some kind of [[RealLifeWritesThePlot budgetary or time constraint]] effect on the story.

* BaitAndSwitch: In the first cutscene he is the one gang member who appears to have some kind of conscience, seeming shocked that Yasmin (a professional killer) is being invited along on a kidnapping job. Later in the game he instead proves to be one of the most callous and violent gangsters, showing that his initial concern wasn't rooted in any kind of moral scruples but some kind of sexual interest in Yasmin.

* BigGood: The nearest this game has to one. While he is still ruthless and bends the rules, he is definitely on the right side of the law and uncorruptible.

* YeGoodOldeDays: He's obsessed and embittered with how the London underworld has changed since "the old days", when gangsters like the Kray Twins and the Richardsons were undisputed bosses of the city. Probably solely because someone like him (white, native-born, and unabashedly bigoted) would have been the norm, not a relic.
