She gets broken out of it when Director Goodsky comes into the infirmary with the Eraliths to clear up the misunderstanding.

* HidingYourHeritage: Variant. She hides her true form as a dragon to prevent unwanted attention from coming her and Arthur's way. Given that even that when disguising her true form she got coveted by Sebastian, it is safe to say that if she went around in her true form she would have attracted the attention of far more malevolent parties, namely the Vritra Clan and their collaborators. Eventually, after she and Arthur return from Epheotus, she no longer hides her true nature as everyone around her knows of it in light of the coming invasion.

It helps that Arthur has been the one to raise her rather than either side of her biological family. To further emphasize this aspect of her, Sylvie is the ''only'' asura who never uses the term "lesser" if not the one who uses the term the least, when even other examples of this trope among the asuras such as Sylvia and Mordain use the term even if in a somewhat less prejudiced stance]].

* TheTeamBenefactor: Due to his wealth and influence, Vincent is able to get Arthur into exclusive contact with high-ranking individuals and acquire for him specific artifacts that he needs. During the WarArc, he uses his resources to aid the overall war effort.

However, due to the seal placed upon her Sylvie is much weaker than the usual asura.

* DarkIsNotEvil: Her dragon form is entirely black and grey, and [[spoiler:she wears black clothes in her human form]]. However, Sylvie is far from evil and the only reason she looks that way is because of [[spoiler:who her father is]].

* SleepModeSize: She is actually quite a large dragon after the Season 3 TimeSkip, but [[{{Shapeshifter}} changes her appearance]] to look either like a black lizard or a small white fox-like creature so as to not draw attention.
