If it wasn't for the other Red Devil, Boone would have killed her.]]

* DarkAndTroubledPast: Hinted at. She states that she has been told that her sense of style of clothing and mannerisms are the result of a traumatic experience that happened to her in the 90's. The ending to "Haunted House" implies that Gigi is [[spoiler:the Hag of Shady Lane, a woman who hid herself in an abandoned house and wailed like a banshee. She may have also taken care of the bathtub baby. "Mommie Dearest" reveals that she spent sometime in the insane asylum]].

Its really summed up best when she's having Thanksgiving with the Red Devil, and thanks them for being there as she literally has little else in her life (except Wes), right before the Red Devil murders her.]]

She's the one who suggests there is more than one killer and, incredibly, is the only one who realizes that [[spoiler:Chanel #2]] has been murdered.

* WeHardlyKnewYe: Only gets one scene before her [[spoiler:unfortunate demise]].

* AssholeVictim: In essence, [[spoiler:he is being raped by Dean Munsch, who is blackmailing him for sex]]. But he's such a tool that most of the audience doesn't seem to mind.

He calls this a "ghetto code." Coupled with his self-absorbed nature and stupidity, it's evident that he's not very in-touch with reality. [[spoiler:His plan is CrazyEnoughToWork, though.]]
* DarkSecret: [[spoiler: Parodied, he is very ashamed about being lactose intolerant.]]

** When he points out that [[spoiler:Ms Bean's body being missing doesn't mean she's alive. Someone could've just moved it]].
** When he correctly deduces that [[spoiler:Boone]]'s death couldn't have possibly been a suicide as the police claim.
** He also anticipates that the fact he has necrophilia will draw the police's suspicion upon him, if he reports to them [[spoiler:finding the bodies of the Red Devil's victims]].

** In "Thanksgiving" upon finding [[spoiler: Hester's]] body missing, he immediately asks if Chanel bothered to check her pulse and confirm she was dead. Upon it turning out she didn't, he rightly predicts she is still alive, woke up, left and will find them later on.

** Granted this might just be with [[spoiler: Dean Munsch]] as [[spoiler: Denise]] enjoyed sleeping with him.

* HonorBeforeReason: When he thinks [[spoiler:Hester]] is pregnant he immediately plans to take responsibility and marry her, despite the fact he's made it clear he doesn't like her and knows he's going to be unhappy marrying her.
** He also intends to [[spoiler: fight Pete in a duel, due to him rejecting a membership in the DDS, and the old tradition saying Chad has to.]]

* LikesOlderWomen: Chad will sleep with any girl he meets, however both the people he's admitted to enjoyed having sex with the most ([[spoiler: Dean Munsch and Denise]]) are quite a bit older than him.
