Twice accidentally, as the reversal of time undid his death, and the final time of his own volition [[HeroicSacrifice in order to become a vessel for the spell that would destroy Mystarsia if not contained]].

** There's also Lucio from ''VideoGame/GranblueFantasy'', a character originally introduced to be a SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute to the ''Rage of Bahamut''-imported Lucifer summon as a playable unit before the proper incarnation of Lucifer was introduced 3 months later. In the ''Granblue Fantasy'' setting, he simultaneously serves the role of Arbiter Mortis [[spoiler: in that he used Lucifer for his own ideals and betrayed his trust, leading Lucifer to rebel against him]] and has the same world-ending goal as fallen Lucifer (though for different reasons) and has a design that looks quite similar to Voidwing Lucifer [[spoiler: after his ressurection in Lucifer's body[[/spoiler]]. Outside of these things, similarly to the above-listed expires, they're very different characters.

* FallenAngel: Originally an archangel, he was cast from the heavens after leading a rebellion against his gods, starting from Arbiter Mortis who betrayed his trust and cursed him to suffer eternally. To symbolize him formerly being an angel, he's always depicted with two black wings (or red in his Voidwing form) and four white ones. As well, he sports a pair of horns to further lean on his now being considered a demon.

* FreudianExcuse: His failure to save Miguel and the curse placed a curse on him to make him suffer eternally is why he turns into the {{Jerkass}} he was in the original timeline.
* GoodWingsEvilWings: After falling, he gains a pair of black wings between his four white ones. Lucifer the Voidwing trades the black wings for a pair of bright red ones instead.

* MeaningfulName: His name means "light bringer" and his Arch Seraph form is associated with Light. Not so much after his fall, however.

After realizing he was a pawn in her plan to carry out ''her'' idea of unfair justice he rebelled against her. In response to his disobedience, she cursed him to suffer eternally without the reprieve of death and exiled him from heaven, bringing about the Lucifer the players interacted with prior to his HeelFaceTurn.
* WingedHumanoid: As an angel turned fallen angel, he is one, though the number of wings he has depends on the card. His original Fallen Lucifer card depicted him with two wings, then four, and then six in his final evolution. After this, he's always depicted with six wings. As well, in his original Arch Seraph form, he has six wings.

* KarmaHoudini: It's heavily implied that she got away with all of her wrongdoings in the original timeline.

* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: He's simply called "Fighter" and nothing else. His chibified 4koma appearance refers to him as "attacker" instead. Even his cards describe him as a nameless warrior.

He looks like Arch Seraph Lucifer and has the same name, but he's a dragon. Other expies include:

* BreakOutCharacter: He was one of the most popular characters to come out of ''Rage of Bahamut'', so much so that he ascended to series mascot status and became a major player in both his home game ''and'' ''Granblue Fantasy''. He's also in general a RecurringElement for Cygames, appearing in nearly every new Cygames' work.

* RageAgainstTheHeavens: He rebelled against the gods due to not believing in Arbiter Mortis' idea of perfect justice, a justice of which is unfair and involves killing innocent people that she perceived made the world unharmonious.
