Ignazio Benito Maria La Russa was born into Fascism. His father Antonio was already a member of the PNF and a loyal fascist, and La Russa would seek to rise higher than his father in national politics. His decades-long rise led to him becoming the Secretary of the National Fascist Party and a member of the Grand Council of Fascism.
