* OutOfCharacterMoment: In an early episode, she ''bangs Doozers on the head with a stick'' to make music. Mokey in any later episode would never think of doing such a thing--in fact, one or two episodes (only two episodes later in the case of "The Preachification of Convincing John") have her as a SoapboxSadie campaigning for Doozer rights (instructing the other Fraggles never to eat their constructions, for example).

* UnexpectedCharacter:
** Flange makes a surprise appearance as an unlockable racer in the ''VideoGame/MuppetRaceMania'' video game. He's only credited as "Doozer," and has a [[AdaptationDyeJob black mustache instead of a brown one,]] but he has the same voice and helmet. He's also the ''only'' ''Fraggle Rock'' character to appear in the game (although Fraggle Rock itself is one of the unlockable race courses). It's rather surprising that Gobo and/or Red ''weren't'' included.
** Both Flange and Wingnut were made into plush toys by Hasbro--while Cotterpin, a vastly more popular character, wasn't.

** She's a bit less abrasive in the 2020s reboots as well, though her sarcastic streak is intact (particularly on the subject of postcards from Traveling Matt). The fourth episode of ''Fraggle Rock: Rock On'' features Red and Gobo competing (albeit more playful than genuine rivalry), hopping on one foot while reciting a challenging tongue twister.

* BigEgoHiddenDepths: On the surface she comes across as a SmallNameBigEgo character; she can be self-centered and self-glorifying, hugely competitive, physically aggressive, and a poor listener.
