* LoopholeAbuse: Normally, Zephyr cannot use the Sword of Light unless he has either The Goddess of Light's permission or is fulfilling one of her requests, due to it normally requiring tremendous stats to wield. However, he was able to use it for ten seconds without either condition being fulfilled by momentarily dramatically boosting his stats with <Dragonification>, the <Meteor's Tears> potion, and the <Hermes's Secret Skill> perk. In addition, Zephyr tried to change the side the coin landed on with skills before opening his hand, and ''indirectly'' told Ned and Lucius the Leader of the Tartarus Worshippers's identity. Later on, Zephyr told the truth when he confirmed what Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life saw in his dreams was the future, but lied by saying it was a prophecy instead of being his actual memories from the future. All in all, Zephyr is ''really'' fond of doing this.

* AllYourPowersCombined: Thanks to the Water of Life, the <Hermes's Secret Skill> perk, Altair's <Moirai> skill, Elise healing Zephyr, and Ned steadying Zephyr's breathing, Zephyr was able upgrade to his second form of <Dragonification>.

* GottaCatchThemAll: Seeks to obtain all seven Dragon Hearts to prevent the world's destruction. All seven Dragon Hearts used to be one, and Zephyr plans to make them one again within his own body.

* CannotKillTheirLovedOnes: Seemed to be unable to do this to Ice Dragon Merenia in the previous timeline. Ice Dragon Merenia had been the [[GuardianEntity guardian deity]] of Aederius's guild, and he seemed to care for her a lot. She served as Aederius's reason to get stronger, and when forced to fight her after she lost her will due to The God of Demons Tartarus's descent, [[IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight he probably tried to bring her back to her senses]]. [[MutualKill Which resulted in both of them dying instead of just her dying]]. In the current timeline, Polaris deliberately approached Aederius while introducing himself as an old friend of [[BigGood White]] [[ArchEnemy Dragon]] [[{{Irony}} Mnemoshuna]] and gave Aederius the same keys that were seen with Ice Dragon Merenia's Dragon Heart after they killed each other in the previous timeline; this is to make Aederius meet Ice Dragon Merenia in the current timeline too, and therefore make him unwilling to kill her, like he had been unwilling to do in the previous timeline. Therefore preventing Zephyr [[GottaCatchThemAll from obtaining all seven Dragon Hearts]] to prevent the world's destruction.

* CurbstompBattle: Zephyr single-handedly annihilated an entire cockatrice nest with his bare hands, even dragging back the leader's head with ease despite the head itself being several times Zephyr's size. Also later delivered one to Aederius, despite Aederius going all out and Zephyr using only one hand while preventing a single drop of water leaving the cup he was holding in his other hand. * BrainwashingForTheGreaterGood: Did this to Fade to get him to help with humanity's survival. However, Ned was horrified by just ''how'' effective it was. However, Ned released Fade from the Blessing of the Elf Queen so he could use it on his older sister—since only one person can be affected at a time—only for Ned to fail with Leah. Thankfully, Fade had already cleared up [[MistakenIdentity his misunderstanding of Zephyr]] by then, so he had no reason to be hostile towards Zephyr and those associated with Zephyr.

* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Depending on the translation, his name and nickname may be spelled as either "Aederius" or "Aedirius" and "Aedi" or "Erdi", respectively.

* ReincarnationRomance: In the previous timeline, Zephyr loved Altair and only Altair. In the current timeline, Zephyr still only has eyes for Altair, and they become lovers yet again.

However, his forgiveness ''does not'' extend to [[HumanSacrifice Sahak]], [[DemonOfHumanOrigin Cardinal Oldin Lasker]], [[HunterOfHisOwnKind Black Moon Ramiel]], [[ArchEnemy Tartarus]], and the gods who abandoned humanity.

* {{Brainwashed}}: Thanks to the Blessing of the Elf Queen, Ned successfully brainwashed Fade into cooperating with him and exchanging intel. Even Ned himself was terrified of the blessing's abilities.

After using Ramiel's Magic Stone to get rid of just the poison and weak flames from <Dragon Breath> to slowly cook the meat, the ribs were ready. Mercedes couldn't resist and absolutely ''melted'' with just one bite. Zephyr was even able [[FoodAsBribe to bribe her]] with the Blue Dragon Ribs into delivering his letter to Lucius's guardian angel, and bribed her with three more servings [[ForgedMessage to make it look like the letter came from The Goddess of Light Aria]].

* StrongAndSkilled: Despite his [[IdiotHero intelligence]], Aederius is both strong and skilled. In fact, had Aederius been influenced in the current timeline by what motivated him to be strong in the previous timeline, even Zephyr would not have been able to subdue him during their fight at Lidell Castle.

Zephyr did this to avoid a head-on battle, which would have led to Ned, Lucius, and Bishop Alfonso being killed. However, the coin ended up being sliced in half with each half turned to each side, effectively making the bet a draw. Later on, Zephyr also made a bet with Aedirius, with Aedirius getting Gram and Zephyr's Dragon Hearts if Aedirius made even a single drop of water leave the cup Zephyr was holding in his other hand and with Zephyr getting to choose Aedirius's nickname if he won. Zephyr won [[CurbstompBattle one-sidedly]] and gave Aedirius the nickname "Mutt".

* CrazyJealousGuy: Seemed to be ''quite'' hostile towards Aedirius, seeing as Zephyr contemplated killing Aedirius moments after meeting him in the current timeline and forced him to crawl like a dog after Zephyr via <Language Enchantment>. This might be due to Aedirius challenging the substitute for Ophelia for the opportunity to marry [[LoveInterest Altair]] (in addition to battle [[BloodKnight being the only way to get things through Aedirius's skull]]).

* ExcellentJudgeOfCharacter: Zephyr is easily able to discern someone's motives, and uses that knowledge to his advantage. For instance, Zephyr knows Aedirius so well to the point of practically reading his mind. In addition, Zephyr knows that no matter how strong he gets, no one will listen to him if he doesn't have status and although he ''hates'' those who look down on others based on class, he would have to put his pride aside and use the Sword of Light to instantly elevate his status so he can earn people's respect and take lead of all of them.

* FinishingEachOthersSentences: Not in an overly overt manner, but when Altair raised her "suspicions" about Aedirius's identity, Zephyr offered a perfect suggestion at a perfect timing, getting the rest of the party to have Zephyr go to Lindell Castle to confront Aedirius, all without revealing knowledge of the future (since only Zephyr, Ned, and Altair knew of the future and it would be too dangerous to tell any more people about it).

* MindOverMatter: After absorbing Blue Dragon Artalis's Dragon Heart, Zephyr gained the ability to use her telekinetic powers. He used them to pin Aedirius to the ground before throwing him into the air and chomping him with a manifestation of Blue Dragon Artalis's jaws.

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: The reason why Altair had to pretend to doubt Aedirius's claim of being the Sword Saint's last disciple? Because Altair is ''[[GenreSavvy aware]]'' of this trope and had to act like her usual doubtful self, despite knowing the truth from [[PeggySue Zephyr]].

* SlasherSmile: Had one when Zephyr convinced the entire party (minus those with knowledge of the future) that Aedirius appearing could make her look suspicious to the Tartarus Worshippers, justifying a reason for Zephyr to intercept Aedirius all without revealing knowledge of the future to those who do not know of it.

* TrueCompanions: Zephyr considers Fade as such. Seeing as how Fade so readily gave away all of his recipes to Zephyr, Fade sees Zephyr as such as well...at least in their previous lives. In their current lives, Fade did not like Zephyr the moment Fade saw him. Ophelia speculated that Fade also had to dance to bypass the <Labyrinth Maker> Ned had set up in the sewer in the Third Parish of the Temple of Light, all without knowing that ''Ned'' was the one who set up those conditions, [[{{Misblamed}} not]] [[WrongAssumption Zephyr]], in addition to the <Labyrinth Maker> itself.

The Last Disciple of the Sword Saint John Howl. Aedirius is the one who currently possess Requiem, the sword of the legendary Sword Saint and Zephyr's final weapon in his previous life. His sudden appearance at Lindell Castle in the current timeline raised an urgent matter that had to be swiftly dealt with.

* ALessonInDefeat: Zephyr planned on making Aedirius's loss against him into Aedirius's reason to get stronger.

* TheBet: Zephyr made a bet with Aedirius, with Aedirius getting Gram and Zephyr's Dragon Hearts if Aedirius made even a single drop of water leave the cup Zephyr was holding in his other hand and with Zephyr getting to choose Aedirius's nickname if he won. * BloodKnight: ''Loves'' to fight, being excited to fight lots of interesting people by coming to Lindell Castle. Aedirius gets more excited the stronger the foe he fights. For instance, while clearing the monster wave that had overtaken the Risha Barony, Aedirius became so excited that he fought for days on end without eating or sleeping before charging into the boss's den and single-handedly slaying the boss one week later and clearing all the monsters from the three nearby territories in half a year. In addition, instead of being enraged by the aforementioned slash that made him heavily crash into that nearby rockface and destroy it, Aedirius gleefully expressed how much he liked Zephyr with that being how a real fight should look like. Zephyr hates this part of Aedirius, due to Aedirius being supposed to carry out the last will of his master while risking his life so recklessly in fights.
* BornLucky: Let's see...having an overpowered master, having immense natural talent, having crazy-good items...is it any wonder how Aedirius became the indisputable strongest of the ten strongest people in Aslan in the previous timeline?
* BreakTheHaughty: Zephyr is planning on doing this to Aedirius, seeing as how he forced Aedirius to crawl like a dog after him via <Language Enchantment>.

* IronButtMonkey: Due to how strong Aedirius is, none of his injuries last for very long.

* {{Hammerspace}}: The <Earth's Cradle> skill acts as one, allowing one to hide any item within the alternate dimension in the ground. Aedirius can use it with restrictions due to receiving the blessing from the White Dragon.
* HiddenHeartOfGold: Despite his [[BloodKnight nature]], Aedirius is a really caring person, as seen when he refused to leave the Risha Barony until all the monsters were defeated, even though he needed to go meet with Altair as per his master's will.
* IHaveManyNames: "Aedirius", "Aedi", "Last Disciple of the Sword Saint", and "Mutt" (courtesy of Zephyr, after defeating him so one-sidedly at Lindell Castle).

* TheImmune: Thanks to the Silver Lion Mithril Armor, Aedirius is immune to all sorts of abnormal statuses such as extreme heat and cold, poisons, and curses. That allowed him to be the one of two members of Altair's vanguard party alongside Fade who could freely move within the poison fog whilst fighting Blue Dragon Artalis during the previous timeline.
* LeeroyJenkins: Seems to have been one in the previous timeline. It was not obvious at first, due to how powerful Aedirius was. However, people's overdependence on him led them to not realize that he actually could not take care of anything due to being too reckless. Zephyr is doing all that he can in the current timeline to fix this part of Aedirius; Zephyr doesn't want Aedirius to ruin things again by "being a dumbass".
* MadeASlave: Was made into Zephyr's dog after losing to him, with Zephyr giving him the nickname "Mutt". Zephyr plans on making Aedirius into a sword with him being the master who wields said sword. However...
* HappinessInSlavery: Aedirius was more than happy to honor his promise of becoming Zephyr's dog, being eager to follow Zephyr's commands. This is because Aedirius was growing bored of fighting weak enemies and was searching for the thrill he used to feel while training with his master...[[ExcellentJudgeOfCharacter which Zephyr knew]].
* MasterSwordsman: Aedirius definitely is one, what with being the Last Disciple of the Sword Saint and being able to effortlessly wield Requiem.
* OnionTears: Had ''LOTS'' of these while Zephyr was forcing Aedirius to chop onions for the meal Zephyr was preparing before going into the Silver Key.
* RestrainingBolt: The Silver Lion Mithril Helmet in Training Mode acts as this. While in Training Mode, it coerces the wearer's actions with the Lion's Blood Drop, a part of the helmet that comes off during Training Mode to become a control device with features such as punishment, orders, and location-tracking. Zephyr makes good use of this to prevent Aedirius from acting out on his own as well as to make him obey orders.

* SpannerInTheWorks: Aedirius's announcement of the passing of his master in the previous timeline caused countless fighters to appear in order to fill the empty spot in the ten strongest people in Aslan. This drew the eyes of the Tartarus Worshippers and drove the world crazy. That was one of the reasons Zephyr had to rush to intercept Aedirius in the current timeline.
