* MeaningfulName: The prime Moon Ray named this timeline the "Cosmic Timeline" because his alternate self, Arch-Prince Caelum Stella Equus, became a god of Cosmos and worked in making that timeline's universe a better place.

* ForWantOfANail: The entire Cosmic Timeline came to be thanks to two points: The first was when he narrowly survived the fateful helicopter crash that killed Moon Ray in the prime timeline (though not without great cost). The second was when he was later introduced to the Architects by Professor Noble Worker while he was despairing from both SurvivorGuilt and the loss of his sight. These points not only helped him develop a better outlook on both existence and life, but also empowered him and his loved ones to Ascend much earlier so they can make the world (and the surrounding universe) a much better place.

* ForWantOfANail: Like his prime counterpart, he started nursing a grudge towards Velvet Heart for being a huge factor in Moon Ray/Caelum's helicopter accident. Fortunately, because he survived, Moon Ray/Caelum was able to nip that in the bud before it became a problem like in the prime timeline. This, combined with learning from the Architects, influenced him to become much kinder than his prime counterpart.

* ForWantOfANail: He's one of the "Nails" that helped create the Cosmic Timeline, as he approached and introduced a blind, despairing Moon Ray/Caelum to the Architects as a way to cheer him up. This had a huge ripple effect, as Moon Ray/Caelum's outlook on life changed completely because of the Architects and later empowered him and his friends/family to Ascend to godhood early, creating a much more positive and stable timeline.

* ForWantOfANail: Because of Moon Ray/Caelum's presence, he was able to recover from his traumas -- including the abuse he suffered at the hooves of his corrupt manager, "Colonel" Hollow Note -- and accept his flaws much earlier, leaving him psychologically healthier. In stark contrast, his prime counterpart internalized and bottled up his traumas for tens of thousands of years before he broke down, nearly transforming him into a Nightmare Alicorn.

* SmallRoleBigImpact: He showed up when Moon Ray/Caelum had fallen into a DespairEventHorizon over losing his sight and being the SoleSurvivor of a helicopter crash, and introduced the latter to the Architects to cheer him up. * TheConscience: As a god of Flaws, Understanding, and Consequences, he essentially serves as this. By making people acknowledge their flaws and the consequences of not regulating them better (or just making bad decisions in general), he helps them understand themselves better, allowing them to grow as creatures and take positive and/or constructive actions that make the universe a better place. This is helped by his domain of Flaws, which allows him to sense people's various flaws. Like Gagal of the prime timeline, he doesn't see flaws as things to be ashamed or get rid of, but as necessary parts of a person that can benefit them if properly taken care of. Notably, many heroes and deities of the Second Age became psychologically healthier because of him, whereas their prime counterparts suffered from trauma for tens of thousands of years because they received little to no psychiatrich help, letting their flaws overwhelm them.

Added DiffLines:

* FreudianExcuse: Deconstructed. Like his prime counterpart, many of his worst flaws, such as his HairTriggerTemper and stubbornness, and impulsiveness, came from his physically abusive upbringing. These flaws were magnified when he became the SoleSurvivor of a helicopter accident, sending him into a downward spiral of depression and guilt as he obsessed over what was lost. Meeting the Architects caused him to realize that he was hurting his loved ones with his flaws and obsessions, pushing him to a better stallion. This included forgiving his abusive, alcoholic father, which is what his prime counterpart did.
* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: While he was already a flawed stallion, surviving the helicopter crash that took away his sight and killed everyone else on board sent him on a downward spiral of grief, guilt, and obsession. Eventually, after meeting the Architects, he realized that regardless of what he went through, he was still hurting his loved ones and made huge efforts in becoming better for their sakes. This included forgiving his abusive, alcoholic father, who was responsible for influencing much of his best and worst personality aspects.

* InSpiteOfANail: Despite the many changes in his life, there are other things that remained unchanged.
** His life before the helicopter accident was the same as the prime Moon Ray's, so like his prime counterpart, he grew up with a violently abusive AlcoholicParent, became a famous prodigy musician, and fell into SexDrugsAndRockAndRoll for a while until a near-death experience (among other things) forced him to wise up. He also divorced Crystal Light, his first wife, following an AwfulWeddedLife and later met Velvet Heart, with whom he became HappilyMarried.
** Much like the prime Moon Ray, he still became a therapist for addicts and abuse victims, though it is under different circumstances. He also hates unrepentantly AbusiveParents and drug-dealers.
** While how he Ascended is different from his prime counterpart, he still Ascended to godhood and became an eldritch Alicorn whose physical "age" far surpasses his chronological "age" due to how deities' aging processes work.
** While it's not the catalyst for his Ascension in this timeline, he still forgave his abusive father because he realized that he couldn't continue holding a grudge against him forever.

* MagicMusic: Like his prime counterpart, he uses music to perform more complicated spells, using a guitar to channel them.

* OneSteveLimit: Averted; he shares his name with Caelum Filum, the corrupted, eldritch form of the prime Moon Ray.

* TameHisAnger: He had a temper like his birth father, but it was compounded by the head injuries he received from his father's NoHoldsBarredBeatdown as a colt, creating anger issues he struggled to control all his life. But thanks to therapy, and the positive influence of both his loved ones and the Architects, he managed to mellow out significently.

to:

* SurvivorGuilt: Part of what fueled his HeroicBSOD was learning that he was the SoleSurvivor of his helicopter accident, causing him to blame himself for their deaths to the point of developing a GuiltComplex. Once he meets the Architects trough Professor Noble Worker, he realizes he was hurting his loved ones by wallowing in self-pity, which pushed him to seek out therapy to recover from his trauma.

* FromZeroToHero: He went from an abused colt who was frequently terrified by his violent, alcoholic father, to one of the greatest guitarists in the Second Age. Then he was blinded in a helicopter crash, after which Professor Noble Worker intervened by introducing him to the benevolent Architects. The things he learned under them profoundly impacted him so much that he started helping people overcome their flaws by accepting and controlling them, gradually turning him into one of the Cosmic Timeline's most prominent Big Goods.

* GuiltComplex: Upon learning that he's the SoleSurvivor of the helicopter crash that killed his pilot and fellow passengers, he developed SurvivorGuilt and blamed himself for what happened. His discovery that he lost his sight in the same crash only made it worse. It's eventually deconstructed -- he became so hung up on what happened that he pushed his friends and family away, refusing to let them help him out of belief that he deserved to suffer for his mistakes and impulsiveness. Once Professor Noble intervenes and introduces him to the Architects, he realizes he was hurting his loved ones by choosing to wallow in self-pity, and apologizes to them for his behavior following his return.

Once Professor Noble intervenes and introduces him to the Architects, he realizes he was hurting his loved ones by choosing to wallow in self-pity, and apologizes to them for his behavior following his return.

* LoveMakesYouDumb:
** It's implied that like his prime counterpart, he impulsively married his first wife, Crystal Light, after falling in love with her and knowing her for such a short time. This contributed to their AwfulWeddedLife and ultimately their divorce.
** Like his prime counterpart, he let his love for Velvet Heart override his common sense, leading to the fateful helicopter crash. Unlike his prime counterpart, he narrowly survived, but at the cost of being the SoleSurvivor and losing his sight. His guilt and trauma from this pushes him into a HeroicBSOD that he later snapped out of when he is introduced to the Architects, which influences him to reconcile with Velvet Heart and marry her, though an Age earlier than the prime Moon Ray did.

* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: Deconstructed and played for drama. Like his prime counterpart, he received a particularly nasty one from his abusive father as punishment for drinking from one of his bottles as a colt, landing him in the hospital. While he survived, he was permanently scarred by the ordeal and retained head injuries that had harmful, long-lasting psychological effects on him. One notable effect is his temper being compounded by them, making him prone to violently lashing out at others just like his father. While he has gotten over his issues significantly by the time he became a god thanks to the Architects and his loved ones aiding him, they can still flare up at times.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: Much like his prime counterpart, he was abused as a colt by his alcoholic, bad-tempered father, who gave him a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown so severe that he was left scarred with head injuries for the rest of his life. He later became a famous Blues musician, but fell into a SexDrugsAndRockAndRoll lifestyle that alienated his loved ones and contributed to the deterioration of his marriage with his first wife, Crystal Light. While things turn up when he meets Velvet Heart and gets sober, it's short-lived as, thanks to his impulsiveness, he gets into a helicopter crash, which he narrowly survives at the cost of becoming blind. The trauma of losing both his eyes and being the SoleSurvivor left him in a deep depression... until Professor Noble Worker appears in his life, after which things improve for him from there.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Like his prime counterpart, much of his clothes are black, including his hats. He's an AllLovingHero who is so enamored by the beauty of the world that he desires to help people overcome their flaws, since he saw how the fabric of reality itself is affected by sapientkind's choices and beliefs. Many people who received help from him included deities and heroes who in the prime timeline suffered from incredible PTSD, like Blue Suede Heartstrings, Princess Magicum Ponyland, and Clover Bloom. He was also instrumental in destabilizing the rise of various supremacy movements .

Added DiffLines:

* DontYouDarePityMe: Deconstructed. A huge reason why he started pushing his friends and family away is because he blamed himself for his fellow passengers and pilot dying in the helicopter crash that took his sight, and believed he deserved to suffer for his impulsiveness. This stops when he is introduced to the Architects by Professor Noble Worker; learning about the foundations of the universe changes his dour outlook so much that he realizes he was hurting his loved ones by wallowing in self-pity, so after returning home, he apologizes fr his behavior and reconciles with them.

However, after meeting the Architects, he awoke his Earth Pony magic and PsychicPowers, and developed SuperSenses to make up for his blindness. Added DiffLines:

* TimeMaster: Like Professor Noble Worker, learning under the Architects gave him a degree of spatial and relativistic powers, allowing him to manipulate time. However, unlike Noble Worker, he is UnskilledButStrong, with the prime Moon Ray describing his level of skill and applications of his power as "brute force".

Added DiffLines:

* UnskilledButStrong: Justified. His poorly-made decision to Ascend to godhood using the Architects' divine "Spark" led to him aging rapidly, preventing him from growing into his power naturally or gaining proper experience in using them. So while he has sheer raw power compared to other deities, he is so strong that small, casual feats of magic could obliterate mountains, forcing him to either learn how to use his powers creatively or restrict himself to basic spells. His grasp on spatial and relativistic magic is also quite poor, with the prime Moon Ray describing his applications of both as "brute force".

Added DiffLines:

* WingedUnicorn: After Ascending to godhood, he became an Alicorn. However, using the Architects' divine "Spark" to do so rapidly aged him into an "Antecedent"-ranked god by the Fourth Age, with eldritch traits like a galaxy-like mane and tail made of purple Cosmic energy, eight wings with eyes on the undersides and feathers made of cosmic water, a wing gradient going from brown to purple, and a halo made of Enlightenment energy. His mane and tail also display images of people’s various flaws and what they chose to do with them, whether good or ill.

Thanks to the Architects' positive influence, he realizes that holding grudges is wrong and forgives his father.

* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: His domains of Flaws and Understanding don't seem like much on paper, but they both are extremely useful. His domain of Flaws lets him sense flaws in almost anything, including objects, spells, and fellow deities, , while his domain of Understanding lets him see the true fabric of the universe and how it's affected by the choices and beliefs of sapientkind. Everything changed when Professor Noble Worker introduced him to the Architects to cheer him up, which changed his outlook on life so drastically that he realized he had been taking everything in his life for granted. This led to him becoming more appreciative of the "little things", and while he knows what people can do at their worst, he is determined to help them overcome their flaws because the fabric of reality is affected one's actions -- by overcoming one's flaws, they're motivated to make the world a better place. Chronologically, he's tens of thousands of years old, but because he Ascended using the Architects' divine "Spark", he physically aged far faster than a typical deity, becoming an "Antecedent"-ranked god by the Fourth Age. * SexDrugsAndRockAndRoll: Deconstructed. Like his prime counterpart, he became a Blues musician, but entered a period of drug and alcohol abuse that both alienated his loved ones and contributed to his first marriage's deterioration. At one point, he had a precognitive vision of himself drowning in water that he promptly ignored, similarly to the prime Moon Ray. He eventually collapsed during a tour and was hospitalized for his addictions, but with Velvet Heart's help, he wised up and got sober. The experience (among other things) later motivated him to try help addicts recover so they wouldn't go through the same things he did.

This gave him SurvivorGuilt that was compounded by his trauma from losing his sight, leaving him quite depressed and miserable. Despite his friends and family's attempts to help him, he pushed them away, feeling he deserved to suffer for his mistakes and impulsiveness. Professor Noble Worker's intervention and meeting the Architects not only helped him snap out of his depression, but also changed his entire worldview, setting off a chain of events that led to him becoming the god he is now.

* VillainousLineage: Defied. It took meeting the Architects for him to finally change himself for the better and break the cycle.
* WillfullyWeak: Justified. This is also the reason why he treats the act of calling upon the Architects' power as a GodzillaThreshold, even though, as someone who learned under them and is magically connected to them, he is capable of doing so.

Added DiffLines:

* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Like his prime counterpart, he was a mortal Earth Pony until a series of events led to him Ascending to godhood through the benevolent Architects who helped create the universe. But because the Architects contained some of the oldest beings in the universe, the "Spark" they provided for his Ascension not only drastically accelerated his divine aging, but also forced him into a healing sleep to properly integrate their "Spark" into his body. Because of this, he's presently a gigantic, "Antecedent"-ranked Alicorn with far more power than a typical deity despite being chronologically younger.

Added DiffLines:

* OurTitansAreDifferent: While he's chronologically younger, he's physically an "Antecedent"-ranked Alicorn god, making him more powerful, eldritch, and larger than "Titan"-ranked deities. This is because his use of the Architects' divine "Spark" drastically accelerated his divine aging processes far beyond that of a typical deity.

Added DiffLines:

* PersonalityPowers: His domains of Cosmos, Enlightenment, Understanding, Consequences, and Flaws all stem from him meeting the Architects through Professor Noble Worker, which not only made him realize how beautiful the world is, but also how his flaws were hurting the people around him. This newfound introspection pushed him to become better, in the process enlightening him to how the world is affected by the choices, beliefs, and actions of others.

Added DiffLines:

* PurpleIsPowerful: Like his prime counterpart, he's heavily associated with purple, whether in his appearance or his clothes. Presently, while he's chronologically younger, he's physically an "Antecedent"-ranked Alicorn god who is incredibly powerful, is magically connected to the benevolent, universe-creating Architects, and is one of the most prominent leading figures of the Cosmic Timeline. He's also hailed as one of the most powerful psychics of his generation, with his strongest ability being precognition.
* RagsToRoyalty: Like his prime counterpart, he went from a young, traumatized colt living in terror of his abusive and alcoholic father, to an extremely powerful Alicorn royal and one of the most prominent Big Goods of the Cosmic Timeline. Though in his case, his title is "Arch-Prince" whereas his prime counterpart's title is "King".

Added DiffLines:

* RecoveredAddict: Like his prime counterpart, he used to be an alcoholic and a drug addict thanks to toxic influence from both his abusive father and the SexDrugsAndRockAndRoll environment that came with being a musucian. After collapsing and being hospitalized for his addictions while on tour, he realized that he can't keep up his harmful lifestyle forever, and became completely sober with help from Velvet Heart.

Added DiffLines:

* Seers: As a psychic, one of his strongest abilities is his precognition, allowing him to predict the future and plan accordingly. Like his prime counterpart, he is an extremely powerful Seer; it's implied his blindness empowered him enough that he predicted the coming of the "Void Aeon" event , allowing Equus/Tellus of the Cosmic Timeline to unite with other intergalactic nations and prepare themselves better.
* SenseLossSadness: He was devastated when he discovered that he lost his sight in the helicopter crash, causing him to believe that he could never play music again. This in part sent him on a downward spiral where he pushed away his friends and family despite their attempts to help him, believing he deserved to suffer forever for his mistakes and impulsiveness. He eventually snaps out of his funk when, through Professor Noble Worker, he meets the benevolent Architects, completely changing his dour outlook on life and causing him to realize that he was hurting his loved ones by obsessing over what he lost. When he returns from meeting the Architects, he apologizes to his friends and family for hurting them, and works on adapting to his blindness. He even relearns how to play the guitar and returns to playing Blues music on-stage with Double Trouble afterward.

* AnimalisticAbomination: Post-Ascension, he became a gigantic "Antecedent"-ranked Alicorn god with a mane and tail made of purple Cosmic energy, eight wings with feathers made of cosmic water, a magical wing gradient going from brown to purple, and a radiant halo made of Enlightenment energy. His mane and tail resemble galaxies and display images of people's various flaws, and what they choose to do with them, whether for good or ill. He also has eyes on the undersides of his wings; when opened, they let him see the fabric of reality itself and how it's affected by the people who live in it. While his true divine form is not as eldritch as his prime counterpart's, it still can be unnerving to many, requiring him to appear in more comprehensible forms.

* BlindMusician: Unlike his prime counterpart, he survives the fateful helicopter crash, but loses his sight in the process. He is initially devastated by it, but a visit by Professor Noble Worker and a meeting with the benevolent Architects makes him realize he was wrong to obsess over what he had lost and therefore should focus on what he has now. After apologizing to his friends and family for hurting them, he focuses on adapting to his blindness, returning to performing Blues music on-stage with Double Trouble once he relearns how to play the guitar.

* ConvenientComa: Like his prime counterpart, he falls into a coma, except here it's because he was put in a healing sleep to help him properly integrate the Architects' divine "Spark" into his body, having started suffering from PhlebotinumOverload after using it to Ascend. While he recovers, he wakes up to find he rapidly aged up and became a "Greater"-ranked deity, and his experience scares his loved ones into opting for Ascending through lesser deities instead.

It's later defied, however, when a trip to the hospital following his collapse on tour forces him to wise up and get sober. Then he is blinded when an impulsive decision leads to the fateful helicopter crash that killed his prime counterpart, kicking off a series of events that helps him grow into a better stallion and entering a HappilyMarried relationship with his second wife, Velvet Heart. He even Ascends to godhood, something that his father never did.

* RapidAging: A positive example. When he used the Architects' divine "Spark" to Ascend to godhood, the sheer power of it proves to be too much for him, requiring him to enter a healing sleep in order to properly integrate the Architects' "Spark" into his body. When he woke up later, he found his divine aging had been drastically accelerated, turning him into a "Greater"-ranked god whereas normally he would have become a demigod or a "godling". Presently, he's a gigantic, "Antecedent"-ranked god because of the Architects' "Spark", making him physically as old as the likes of Emperor Golden Scepter, Queen Mzazi, and other similarly ancient deities.

* SignatureHeadgear: Like his prime counterpart, he wore black hats. As a mortal, he wore a black, wide-brimmed gaucho hat. After Ascending to godhood and joining the Church of the Stars, he dons a black Plateau hat with a starry, galactic pattern on it.

* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance:
** His Cutie Mark was originally a simple electric guitar, before it changed into a blue, watery nebula shaped like an electric guitar in a dark patch surrounded by stars post-Ascension. This change reflects how he reached enlightenment regarding the universe after meeting the benevolent Architects through Professor Noble Worker, influencing him to develop a greater appreciation for the "little things" and be more empathetic towards his fellow creature.
** Like his prime counterpart, he generally wears clothes and hats with purple, black, white, and gray colors. Said colors are associated with the asexual pride flag, which makes sense since he is asexual himself.

* BadassTeacher: Like his prime counterpart, he mentored countless students, teaching them music and other things. He's also a BlindMusician who happens to be an extremely powerful Alicorn god with magical ties to the Architects that created the universe, as well as one of the Cosmic Timeline's most prominent Big Goods.

* BlindSeer: He became blind when he tried flying back to Velvet Heart via helicopter in bad weather, ignoring Sunny Field's advice to stay put and wait it out, leading to him losing his sight in the resulting crash. Once he gets out of his SenseLossSadness, he awakens his Earth Pony magic and innate PsychicPowers so he could adapt to his blindness, allowing him to do things like sense vibrations in the earth and, naturally, Seers predict the future. It's noted that his precognition is his strongest psychic ability, and it became important in both predicting and resolving various problems that plagued the prime timeline, such as the Second Age's "Void Aeon" event and the rise of multiple supremacy movements in the Fourth Age.

* CelibateHero: Like his prime counterpart, he is a heteroromantic asexual, with the difference being that he got over the issues that made him reluctant to have biological children with Velvet Heart much earlier than his prime counterpart did.

* DisabilitySuperpower: In order to make up for his blindness, he developed heightened senses like smell, touch, and hearing, and awoke both his Earth Pony magic (specifically the ability to sense vibrations in the ground) and his innate PsychicPowers. Then he Ascended to godhood as an Alicorn, giving him even more power to use as an aid for his disability. While not as powerful as his prime counterpart, years of using his powers just to get around made him very creative in fighting with them. However, he does have logical weaknesses, weaknesses -- he's heavily reliant on his other senses and magic to get around, and while it's generally not a problem due to how physicaly "old" he is by divine standards, interfering with and/or taking away his senses or magic can still hinder him.

* ForeseeingMyDeath:
** Like his prime counterpart, he received a prophetic dream of himself drowning in water, symbolizing what would happen to him if he didn't stop abusing drugs or alcohol. He didn't listen and ended up being hospitalized after collapsing while on tour, something that Moon Ray confirmed.
** He also had the same prophetic vision where he died with thousands attending his funeral, and still chose to try fly back to Velvet Heart in bad weather instead of heeding his vision. While he narrowly survived the fateful helicopter crash thanks to timely intervention, he was left the SoleSurvivor and lost his sight in the process, setting off a series of events different from the prime timeline.

* GravityMaster: As a god of Cosmos, he can manipulate gravity. This also extends to the spatial and relativistic powers he gained from learning under the Architects, just like Professor Noble Worker. Unlike Noble Worker, however, he's less experienced with it, with his applications of it being summed up by the prime Moon Ray as "brute force".
* HairTriggerTemper: Justified and deconstructed. One of his flaws is that he has a bad temper, inherited from his father and compounded by the head injuries his father inflicted on him as a colt. This gave him anger issues that he struggled to control all his life. They were worsened when he became a drug and alcohol addict, which contributed to the AwfulWeddedLife he shared with his first wife, Crystal Light, prior to their divorce. While he got sober and significantly mellowed out by the present day, his temper can still be a problem for him at times.

* InstrumentOfMurder: Like his prime counterpart, his main weapon is a guitar that he uses to channel his spells.

* MakingASplash: As a god of Cosmos, his strongest powers lie in his manipulation of cosmic water, sharing the same techniques as the prime Moon Ray when he was a god of Water like summoning tidal waves and floods, manifesting water as barriers, beams, and constructs, and creating water-based weapons.
* MeaningfulName: It's implied his birth name is Moon Ray Vaughoof, and like his prime counterpart, he shares the cosmic-themed naming convention with his father and older brother by being named after the moon. After Ascending to godhood and joining the Church of the Stars, he is renamed "Caelum Stella Equus", which translates to "heaven's star" in Latin and refers to not only him being Equus' living conscience, but also his ties to deities like the Architects and the Grand Primevals, and his being a god of Cosmos.
* MentorArchetype: Like his prime counterpart, he became a mentor to countless students, teaching them music and other things. And like his prime counterpart, many of his students were addicts and/or abuse victims who recovered thanks to his lessons.
* MeteorSummoningAttack: As a god of Cosmos, he can call down meteor showers, something he learned from the Church of the Stars after joining it.

* PlayingWithFire: As a god of Cosmos, he can summon solar flares after learning the technique from the Church of the Stars.

* SpontaneousWeaponCreation: Justified. As a god of Cosmos, he can manipulate cosmic water and use it to create water-based weapons. It's implied he can do this with other cosmic versions of the natural elements as well.
* StarPower: As a god of Cosmos, he can create small stars.
* SuperHearing: He developed enhanced hearing to make up for his blindness.

* HappilyAdopted: She became the ParentalSubstitute of many adoptive children after marrying Moon Ray/Caelum.
* HappilyMarried: Like her prime counterpart, she gets engaged to Moon Ray/Caelum and later becomes his second wife, but marries him much earlier due to Moon Ray/Caelum's survival. They mutually love and adore each other, and it's noted they had lots of biological and adoptive children together. When Moon Ray/Caelum Ascended to godhood using the Architects' divine "Spark", she decided to follow her husband so she could keep him grounded.
* ParentalSubstitute: She became the loving mother of several adoptive children after marrying Moon Ray/Caelum, and treated them all with love and care.

* LittleBigBrother: Like his prime counterpart, he ends up being dwarfed in height by his younger brother, Moon Ray/Caelum, who Ascends to godhood first but uses the Architects' divine "Spark" to do so. Even after Ascending to godhood himself, he still ends up shorter than his brother because Moon Ray/Caelum's divine growth rates were vastly accelerated by the Architects' "Spark".
* TookALevelInKindness: Like his prime counterpart, he was a BigBrotherBully to Moon Ray/Caelum at times despite being very protective of him, and he resented Velvet Heart for being the reason behind his younger brother's helicopter accident and blindness. He later realizes the error of his ways, but does so much earlier due to Moon Ray/Caelum being there to nip his resentment in the bud before it became a problem like in the prime timeline.

Thanks to Professor Noble Worker, who introduced him to the Architects, he recovers and changes his previously dour outlook on life completely.

* AlternateSelf: He's an alternate version of Moon Ray Vaughoof who survived the fateful helicopter crash, but lost his sight in the process, and ultimately grew to appreciate life more thanks to individuals like Professor Noble Worker and the Architects.

* AwfulWeddedLife: Like his prime counterpart, he married his first wife, Crystal Light, only for their marriage to deteriorate over the years thanks to poor decisions made by both of them. They divorced when he discovered Crystal Light's secret affairs, leaving him in despair but setting up the circumstances that led to him meeting his SecondLove, Velvet Heart.
* BadassCape: As a mortal, he wore a purple poncho with black, white, and gray designs. After Ascending to godhood and, later, joining the Church of the Stars, he started wearing a black cloak with a white, purple, and gray galaxy pattern. He's presently an eldritch and incredibly powerful Alicorn god who has ties to the Architects, the oldest divine beings in the universe, and whose efforts led to his timeline becoming more empathetic and morally stronger. Even before Ascending, he helped heal people of various psychological issues and combat various threats, saving hundreds of lives and changing many more.

* BigLittleBrother: Just like his prime counterpart, he Ascended to godhood first, so he's naturally bigger than his older brother, Sunny Field Vaughoof. Unlike his prime counterpart, he used the divine "Spark" of the Architects to Ascend, resulting in growing much faster to the point of utterly dwarfing his brother without re-Ascending.
* BlueIsHeroic: His Cutie Mark, originally an electric guitar, changed into a blue, watery nebula that resembles an electric guitar. He's a benevolent Alicorn god who loves all life, desires to help people accept and understand their flaws, and is one of the Cosmic Timeline's main Big Goods who had a hoof in ensuring many of the threats that plagued the prime timeline (including ) didn't get to cause as much damage in the Cosmic Timeline.
* BreakingTheCycleOfBadParenting: His father was a violent drunkard who abused both him and Sunny Field as colts, and once subjected him to a brutal NoHoldsBarredBeatdown as punishment for drinking from one of his bottles. While he messed up with his first wife, Crystal Light, he significantly improved by the time he married Velvet Heart, and became a loving husband and father to both his adoptive and biological children.

* DidntThinkThisThrough: Deconstructed. One of his flaws is that he tended to be very impulsive and stubborn, causing him to make the same poor decisions his prime counterpart made (e.g. his drug and alcohol addictions, his rushed marriage to Crystal Light, etc.) and alienate his loved ones, even butting heads with Sunny Field. Eventually, he impulsively tries to fly back to Velvet Heart in bad weather, which not only nearly kills him, but also robs him of his sight. He becomes extremely depressed afterward, wallowing in self-pity and pushing away his family and friends who tried to help him recover. He snaps out of his funk after meeting the Architects through Professor Noble Worker, but his choice to Ascend to godhood using the Architects' divine "Sparke" causes him to suffer from PhlebotinumOverload because of the Architects' sheer age and power. While he recovers thanks to being put in a healing sleep to properly integrate it into his body, the Architects' "Spark" warped him in both body and magic upon Ascension, something that his friend, Fret Pick, lampshades.
* DisabilitySuperpower: In order to make up for his blindness, he developed heightened senses like smell, touch, and hearing, and awoke both his Earth Pony magic (specifically the ability to sense vibrations in the ground) and his innate PsychicPowers. While not as powerful as his prime counterpart, years of using his powers just to get around made him very creative in fighting with them. However, he does have logical weaknesses,
* EldritchTransformation: While not as drastic as his prime counterpart's, the Architects' divine "Spark" turned out to be so powerful that when he used it to Ascend, his divine physical and magical growth rates were accelerated far beyond that of a typical deity. By the Fourth Age, he aged so fast that he became a gigantic, "Antecedent"-ranked Alicorn god with a galaxy-like mane and tail made of purple Cosmic energy, eight wings with feathers made of cosmic water, a wing gradient going from brown to purple, and a radiant halo made of Enlightenment energy. His Cutie Mark, originally an electric guitar, mutated and changed into a blue, watery nebula shaped like an electric guitar in a dark patch surrounded by stars. His wings have eyes on their undersides that, when opened, let him see the fabric of reality and how it's affected by the actions, beliefs, and choices of others.
* EnemyScan: As a god of Flaws, he can psychically detect flaws in various things like people, objects, spells, or even fellow deities, and whether if they're hidden or tampered with. When combined with the rest of his domains, he can locate flaws within even the fabric of the universe, understand and show people the consequences of leaving them unchecked, and come up with solutions for them. This power allowed the Second Age to survive the Void Aeon and save thsoe who died during that event in the prime timeline
* ExtraEyes: After Ascending to godhood using the Architects' divine "Spark", he gained eyeballs on the underside of his wings. When opened, they let him see the fabric of reality and how it's affected by the choices, beliefs, and actions of others.
* EyeScream: While he survived the helicopter crash that killed his prime counterpart, it came at the cost of being the SoleSurvivor and losing his eyes. When he woke up later in the hospital, he broke down upon realizing he couldn't see anymore, leading to him suffering from SenseLossSadness for a while.
--> Moon Ray Vaughoof: Mah eyes! Ah can't see! WHAT HAPPENED TA MAH EYES?!
* EyesDoNotBelongThere: Post-Ascension, he gained ExtraEyes on the undersides of his wings, which is pretty freaky. When opened, they let him see the fabric of the universe and how it's affected by the choices, beliefs, and actions of others. They're also symbolic of his ties to the benevolent Architects, whose only comprehensible trait is their cosmically gigantic eyes, and how being blinded "opened" his eyes to the beauty of the universe he lives in.

* GodzillaThreshold: Due to being magically linked to the Architects, he can call on their power if he chooses to. However, he only does it in extremely dire situations because the power of even one Architect far exceeds mortal (or divine) comprehension.
* HappilyAdopted: Since marrying Velvet Heart, he adopted many children and treated them all with love and care like his prime counterpart did.
* HatesTheirParent: Deconstructed. Like his prime counterpart, he both hated and feared his alcoholic father, Sunny Mane Vaughoof, because of the abuse he suffered under the latter's hooves. Thanks to the Architects' positive influence, he realizes that holding grudges is wrong and forgives his father.
* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: Invoked. As a god of Consequences, he can magically make karma catch up to wicked people naturally if it turns out they committed a lot of bad deeds that they managed to get away with. This can also apply to entire civilizations.

* MagicHair: Post-Ascension, his mane and tail became composed of purple Cosmic energy, resembling galaxies and displaying imagies of people's various flaws and what they chose to do with them, whether for good or ill.

* PsychicPowers: Like his prime counterpart, he has innate psychic powers like empathy, telepathy, psychic telekinesis, and PsychicTeleportation, which he awoke as he tried to adapt to his blindness. His strongest ability is precognition, which lets him predict the future and plan ahead. He is regarded as one of the most powerful psychics of his generation; unlike his prime counterpart, who possesses sheer raw psychic power, he's more skilled in using them creatively, especially when lessening the damage caused by his powers. His psychic powers are further enhanced by his domain of Enlightenment.

* SuperSenses: To make up for his blindness, he developed heightened taste, touch, smell, and hearing. His senses can be interfered with, but this generally isn't much of a problem to him due to how old he is by divine standards.

This, combined with learning from the Architects, influenced him to become muck kinder than his prime counterpart.

* ForWantOfANail: While surviving the helicopter crash was the first point of divergence, Noble Worker provided the second one which led to Cosmic-verse Moon Ray and his friends' ascensions into the Cosmic Six by leading them to meet and converse with the Architects of the Universe, an experience which profoundly changed their outlooks on existence and everthing.

to:

* AmbiguousSituation: Is he the original Noble Worker from the Codexverse's prime timeline, or an alternate version of him who is native to the Cosmic Timeline. According to Jade Shell, even the prime Moon Ray, who foresaw the Cosmic Timeline, isn't sure.
* ForWantOfANail: While surviving He's one of the helicopter crash was the first point of divergence, Noble Worker provided the second one which led to Cosmic-verse Moon Ray and his friends' ascensions into "Nails" that helped create the Cosmic Six by leading them to meet Timeline, as he approached and converse with introduced a blind, despairing Moon Ray/Caelum to the Architects of the Universe, an experience which profoundly as a way to cheer him up. This had a huge ripple effect, as Moon Ray/Caelum's outlook on life changed their outlooks on existence completely because of the Architects and everthing.later empowered him and his friends/family to Ascend to godhood early, creating a much more positive and stable timeline.

Added DiffLines:

* ForWantOfANail: Because of Moon Ray/Caelum's presence, he was able to recover from his traumas -- including the abuse he suffered at the hooves of his corrupt manager, "Colonel" Hollow Note -- and accept his flaws, leaving him psychologically healthier. In stark contrast, his prime counterpart internalized and bottled up his traumas for tens of thousands of years before he broke down, nearly transforming him into a Nightmare Alicorn.

Added DiffLines:

* ForWantOfANail: Because of Moon Ray/Caelum's presence, he was saved from being kidnapped and raped by War Rock, which happened to his prime counterpart.

** Moon Ray and his loved ones' decision to Ascend to godhood earlier than their prime counterparts gives them the power and means to help improve Second Age civilizations by exposing their various flaws. Their early Ascenions also leads to Moon Ray predicting the coming of the Void Aeon , early, allowing both Equus/Tellus and other intergalactic nations to prepare for the coming crisis. ** Moon Ray's survival and presence means that War Rock wasn't able to cause as much damage as he did in the prime timeline, as Moon Ray used his psychic powers to both protect War Rock's potential victims and forewarn others of what the supervillain intended to do. This saved hundreds, if not thousands of lives, including Healing Song, who was kidnapped and raped by War Rock in the prime timeline.

* LighterAndSofter: As a result of Moon Ray's survival and his and his friends' earlier ascensions to godhood, their timeline is in a much better shape than that of prime Equus. The Void Aeon and the end of the Second Age was far less destructive and ended with as a result of the world being better prepared, while in the Fourth Age the Tribalists and Autorists or their analogues are less powerful and widespread due to Caelum foreseeing their threat earlier and acting sooner with their allies to clamp down their influence.

to:

* LighterAndSofter: As a result of ForWantOfANail: The Cosmic Timeline exists because Moon Ray's Ray Vaughoof survived the fateful helicopter crash that killed his prime counterpart. While his survival and his and his friends' earlier ascensions to godhood, their was great cost, this point of divergence ultimately left the timeline is in a much better shape than because Moon Ray and his loved ones were motivated to start fixing the problems that of prime Equus. The Void Aeon and the end of plagued the Second Age Age, both big and small:
** Sunny Field Vaughoof's resentment and emotional abuse of Velvet Heart in the prime timeline never happened because Moon Ray
was far less destructive there to nip them in the bud, convincing his older brother not to blame his fiancée for the crash. This led to Sunny Field becoming kinder early on, leaving him and ended Velvet Heart on better terms with each other for much longer.
** Because he learns how important life is from the Architects' perspective, Moon Ray decides to help people acknowledge and overcome their flaws so they can be motivated to do good, or at least direct their flaws towards constructive ends. While he still ends up becoming a therapist like his prime counterpart did, Moon Ray starting this much earlier ensures that many people who suffered tremendous trauma in the prime timeline -- including Blue Suede Heartstrings, Clover Bloom, Healing Song, Princess Magicum Ponyland, and others -- were able to accept their own flaws and emerge from their healing process much psychologically healthier than their prime counterparts.
** Moon Ray and his loved ones' decision to Ascend to godhood earlier than their prime counterparts gives them the power and means to help improve Second Age civilizations by exposing their various flaws. ** The
Fourth Age Age's various supremacist movements, like the Tribalists and Autorists or their (or the Cosmic Timeline's analogues are of them), also gain far less powerful political, social, and widespread due to Caelum foreseeing their threat earlier cultural prominence in the Cosmic Timeline, as Moon Ray (with the help of his allies and acting sooner domains) was able to interfere with their allies development and thoroughly deconstruct them to clamp down their influence. the point of becoming utterly irrelevant.

* AffectionateNickname: Like his prime counterpart, his friends and family call him "Moony".
* AllYourPowersCombined: Like his prime counterpart, he gained the combined magics of all mortal Pony tribes upon becoming an Alicorn, though he's most skilled in using Earth Pony magic.
* AlternateSelfNameChange: While it's implied he has the same birth name as his prime counterpart, he is renamed "Caelum Stella Equus" after Ascending and joining his version of the Church of the Stars. This is to separate him from his prime counterpart, whose Alicorn name is "Canticum Lunae Cahaya".

* TheAntiNihilist: Like Moon Ray and Professor Noble Worker, he is this. In addition to sharing Moon Ray's feelings of love, awe, and protectiveness towards all life, he shares Noble Worker's view of the universe as a cold, uncaring place that is ultimately shaped by the actions of others. He therefore stresses the importance of understanding accepting one's flaws, since the resulting enlightenment will motivate people to be good and make the universe a better place.
* BigBrotherWorship: Like his prime counterpart, he idolized his older brother, Sunny Field, and was inspired by him to take up music despite Sunny Field being a BigBrotherBully at times. When Sunny Field ran away to Silicon Valley to become a musician, he would join him as a teenager several years later. This went away when he fell into the SexDrugsAndRockAndRoll lifestyle, which enabled his worst flaws and caused him to both butt heads with Sunny Field ad ignore his brother's advice. After losing his sight in the fateful helicopter accident and learning under the Architects, he gained a deeper appreciation of his brother and helped Sunny Field become a better person, even if it meant he knows of his brother's flaws.

* ForWantOfANail: The entire Cosmic Timeline came to be thanks to two points: The first was when he narrowly survived the fateful helicopter crash that killed Moon Ray (though not without great cost). The second was when he was later introduced to the Architects by Professor Noble Worker while he was despairing from both SurvivorGuilt and the loss of his sight. These points not only helped him develop a better outlook on both existence and life, but also empowered him and his loved ones to Ascend much earlier so they can make the world (and the surrounding universe) a much better place.

to:

* CoveredInScars: As a consequence of surviving the helicopter crash that killed his prime counterpart, both his body and eyes covered in scars.
* CruelToBeKind: A huge part of his shtick as a god of Flaws involves telling and showing people their flaws. While no one wants to see or acknowledge the worst parts of themselves, this is ultimately necessary since acknowleding one's flaws will push the person to work on regulating their flaws and becoming better. Otherwise, if they don't, they will suffer for possibly the rest of their lives. This is represented by his domains of Consequences, Understanding, and Enlightenment.
* ForWantOfANail: The entire Cosmic Timeline came to be thanks to two points: The first was when he narrowly survived the fateful helicopter crash that killed Moon Ray in the prime timeline (though not without great cost). These points not only helped him develop a better outlook on both existence and life, but also empowered him and his loved ones to Ascend much earlier so they can make the world (and the surrounding universe) a much better place.

* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: His father was a violent, abusive drunk who terrified him with his rages and once beat him so badly that he now has a large, jagged scar on the left side of his head. While he did end up going down a similar path later on -- including going through an AwfulWeddedLife with his first wife, Crystal Light -- he wised up after nearly dying from his addictions and got sober. By the time he marries Velvet Heart, he became a loving father and husband to his own wife and children. He also developed a love for all life and later became a god thanks to the Architects' influence, whereas his father never learned from his own shortcomings and mistakes and died unrepentant like in the prime timeline.

* ParentalSubstitute: After marrying Velvet Heart in the Second Age, he proceeds to adopt several children and become a good father to them.
* PhlebotinumOverload: He eventually Ascends to godhood using the Architects' divine "Spark", but because the Architects are deities who have existed since the Big Bang and therefore incomprehensibly ancient, their "Spark" ends up becoming too much for him to physically handle. He is put in a healing sleep so his body could properly adjust, and when he wakes up later, he finds he rapidly aged up in the meantime and became a "Greater"-ranked god -- making him as old as his prime counterpart.
* PsychicLink:
** He is magically linked to the Architects, the oldest divine beings in the universe, because the "Spark" he used to Ascend to godhood is part of their bodies. This allows him to communicate with the Architects and call on their power, though he treats the latter as a GodzillaThreshold reserved only for extremely dire situations.
** On the other hand, his natural PsychicPowers gives him the ability to create telepathic links with people, whether for long-distance communication or to "see" through other people's eyes.
* ScarsAreForever: He's CoveredInScars all over his body and eyes ever since he narrowly survived the fateful helicopter crash that killed Moon Ray Vaughoof, his prime counterpart. Then there's the large, jagged scar he got from his abusive father following a brutal NoHoldsBarredBeatdown.

* SecondLove: Like her prime counterpart, she became Moon Ray/Caelum's second love and wife after his marriage to Crystal Light was damaged beyond repair.
