* InconsistentDub: While the cast lives in the US due to issues going on in Japan for years now, Ruki maintains her Japanese name, but Henry and Jeri for example use their dub names. [[spoiler:Although with Henry he has [[ShedTheFamilyName a different reason entirely]] for it.]]

* AuthorAvatar: {{Downplayed}}, but her depiction of {{UsefulNotes/Autism}} is based off of how the author himself had behaved when he was Jeri's age, considering he also has Autism as well.

* PickyEater: Often orders fast food to eat, even behind the back of her father. Or, rather, because her father is too lazy to neglectful to bother raising her like a normal child with a normal type of diet. Some can't exactly ''completely'' blame either of them though considering [[{{UsefulNotes/Autism}} Jeri's condition.]]

Or, rather, because her father is too lazy to neglectful to bother raising her like a normal child with a normal type of diet. Some can't exactly ''completely'' blame either of them though considering [[{{UsefulNotes/Autism}} Jeri's condition.]]]] Then again, based off of what we see in Chapter 1, Jeri's father leaves her $15 per day for her to use for lunch, which depending on where you are in the US, is more than enough to buy fast food for a single person lunch.

!! Henry

* AbusiveParents: {{Understatement}} of the year here.
* AmbiguouslyGay: [[spoiler:He's written to be homosexual, but he doesn't have any LoveInterest to speak of. This is more or less simply meant to explain why he showcases zero romantic attraction to any of the female cast members.]]
* {{Expy}}: Of Koushirou from ''Digimon Re: Adventure''. Much like Koushirou, he's introduced with his partner Digimon digivolved into a form that is higher than Rookie. In Henry's case, though, it's in the form of the Ultimate Level Rapidmon. In Koushirou's case for comparison, it was with the Champion Level Kabuterimon.
* HiddenDepths: When we first see him, he already has Terriermon digivolved into Rapidmon, meaning not only has he long since past Champion, but he's been able to achieve Ultimate for some time now. Whereas it would've been easy to show Terriermon as Gargomon, keep in mind in the canon, Terriermon's backstory already showcases this, meaning rather than show Terriermon as Champion, the author decided that to [[InvokedTrope Invoke]] this trope, it would require showcasing Terriermon as his Ultimate Level Rapidmon form.
* InconsistentDub: Whereas Ruki merely keeps her original Japanese name because of her grandmother's heritage, Henry has a different reason entirely for why his Dub name is used whereas everyone else simply had the excuse of changing their names when they moved to the US. [[spoiler:In Henry's case he wants to ShedTheFamilyName by severing all ties to [[{{Jerkass}} his father]] as much as possible.]]
* ShedTheFamilyName: [[spoiler:He's so sick and tired of his dad's attempts to control his life that he changed his name entirely and ran away once he turned 18.]]
* StraightGay: Doesn't show any of the stereotypes associated with being gay. [[spoiler:Primarily because he'd rather not talk about his sexuality at all.]]

* HormoneAddledTeenager: Is constantly at Ruki's mercy when it comes to her taunting him about how if Ryo tries to have too much of an argument against her, Ruki will remind him that if Ryo wants to do it with her once she turns 18, Ryo will need to be a good boy and listen to her own orders lest Ryo be blue-balled by his girlfriend for trying to disagree.

** Aside from it being rather clear he's horny for Ruki, he doesn't truly actively intend to show this around her on purpose; normally he keeps it to himself unless a dream from the night prior that particular day causes his hormones to act up around her.
* WalkingSpoiler
WalkingSpoiler: Not for ''Digimon Re: Tamers'', but for ''Digimon Re: Adventure'' he's this.

Added DiffLines:

* BloodKnight: Just like in the canon, at least, with his Cyberdramon form anyways. Considering he's a lot more chattier here, though, he sounds [[UpToEleven even]] ''[[UpToEleven more]]'' of this trope than normal.

* {{Adorkable}}: She definitely has her serious moments, her {{Squee}}ing over several Digimon owned by various tamers, as well as her GirlyGirl nature, on the other hand...

* GirlyGirl: To contrast with Ruki's {{Tomboy}}.

* SarcasmBlind: What causes her friendship with Ruki to begin with; she doesn't recognize an insult from Ruki and ends up becoming friends with her as a result. Thankfully for Jeri, Ruki has been getting better as a person because of their friendship.

* BittersweetSeventeen: [[spoiler:The actual reason for her {{Jerkass}} behavior; she isn't ready to admit she's becoming a HormoneAddledTeenager for Ryo because she thinks people will view her differently than all of those years prior, to the point she thinks she'll be no different from her mother if she easily gives in to Ryo once she's 18.]]

* InconsistentDub: Has her surname from her Japanese canon name, but her first name is her Dub name otherwise. She also has a tendency of sometimes slipping into using the Japanese names for certain Digimon, skills, and evolutionary levels at times, but she's growing out of it.

* {{Jerkass}}: Why her attempts to be a role model to younger girls fails; she's too rude and misbehaved to have any young children near here. Jeri's the only girl she's nice to around her own age as well because Ruki unwittingly befriended her only because of Jeri being SarcasmBlind and thus mistake a snarky insult as meaning Ruki would indeed be her friend when they were both much younger.

* RealWomenDontWearDresses: {{Downplayed}}, {{Inverted}}, or {{Defied}} at times. For the most part, she's on equal footing with Jeri, who is more of a GirlyGirl than Ruki's {{Tomboy}} status by comparison. However, during her week of her temporary GirlinessUpgrade, she learns to value her own feminine side more and as a result, [[spoiler:actually has a happy bonding experience with her mother, and successfully Matrix Digivolves Kyubimon into Taomon]] when with her Tomboy status prior she wasn't able to succeed in either spot. Ruki calls her week as having to play the role of the GirlyGirl after the bet the best week of her life because of the key fact [[spoiler:[[CharacterDevelopment everyone went from looking at her with scorn, to looking at her with high praise for her sense of humility]]]].

Added DiffLines:

* {{Foreshadowing}}: As Ultimate Level Cyberdramon, Jeri notes how Cyberdramon has more than enough D-Power to digivolve into Mega at any time. Ryo can already digivolve Cyberdramon into Millenniumon, but prefers to keep a low profile about it especially considering Millenniumon is also too tall for the ceilings of the club.

* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Jeri and Impmon both qualify when compared to the average Digimon series. Much of the time the main leads are male protagonists with a reptilian partner; Jeri is a female protagonist with a demonic Digimon as her partner, so any reptilian attributes are purely coincidental. Jeri, instead of being HotBlooded or even being similar to Canon!Takato, also has the distinction of being a ShrinkingViolet with a DarkAndTroubledPast as we've already known Canon!Jeri to be as well. Likewise, while Impmon is HotBlooded himself, his entire line lacks the fire motif with a few exceptions, and is an example of DarkIsNotEvil in terms of primary element as well as being Virus Attribute.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Implied with the prologue alone, but not outright stated as to ''what'' just yet. [[spoiler:Her father [[MythologyGag works in the mafia]], and often has a terrible ability to keep up with bills and afford things needed for Jeri's emotional and mental development due to her condition. As a result of this, money tends to be short very often in the household, and whenever money is used at all, rather than get groceries like a normal family, Jeri ends up getting a lot of fast food because it's either cheaper for her, or she ends up being treated out with what few friends she has because they're aware of Jeri's lifestyle at home to allow them to pay for her much of each given week.]]

* LethalChef: One of the more noteworthy examples of this as a female character in the ''Citadel Of The Heart'' continuity, because unlike most examples of this, Jeri isn't even remotely very familiar with regular groceries and thus never truly developed an ability to learn how to cook because of both this and her fast food eating habits.

to:

* ShrinkingViolet: Due to her psychological issues and DarkAndTroubledPast at times.
* WeightWoe: {{Zigzagged}}. She never was properly raised to learn that fast food wasn't exactly healthy since weight gain is especially prone to happen with these meals, but considering how her father was kind of giving her neglect with what the definition of an ordinary meal was for someone her age, she ultimately viewed fast food as being normal for her and thus any concern for weight was non-existent. In fact, she seems oblivious to the nature of this trope as she seems to not have a clue what some of her friends say when they make a comment on how she might gain weight if she eats too much of a certain fast food item.

** [[spoiler:"I only just achieved this form, a blood transfusion will be risky!" This line from ''Reflection Code'' is one of the few hints as to which form she's currently in, and in terms of chronological order, the last time we saw her prior to this was as Greymon. In ''Sword Art Online: Special Edition'' the entire story she's [=MetalGreymon=], and it isn't until the end of her role there she becomes [=WarGreymon=] for the first time. Why is this important? Because Mirror M's Phase 5 form is altered to have [=MetalGreymon=] cells that drastically change his form changes between Phases 3 to Phase 4, making Mirror M vaguely resemble [=MetalGreymon=] and [=WarGreymon=] instead of his original EldritchAbomination forms. In other words, she unwittingly sets up for the events of another situation involving Mirror M because his DNA is now tainted because of this incident.]]

* {{Fatal Flaw}}:
** Taichi: {{Commitment Issues}}. A man whore at most when it comes to relationships with women, he can't ever bring himself to commit to a relationship, since he has apparently gotten in trouble numerous times with women for the fact he doesn't appear to want anything more than sex with them an nothing more than that. Not only that, but he feels like he's the entire reason to blame for Meiko's issues in her life because he was unable to commit to a relationship when she confessed her love to him when they were younger; all Taichi did at the time was run away in fright unable to determine what to do next. Taichi initially had a crush on another girl entirely, but upon learning she was taken he went into a depressed state, and when Meiko confessed to him, he mistook her feelings as trying to manipulate him and he ran off because of it.
** Yamato: {{Delinquent}}. Yamato is part of a band known as the Teenage Wolves in which he is the lead singer. Often times his band is very, very much used to orgies with a special guest if they're a girl, primarily because Yamato's band mates have {{No Sense Of Personal Space}}, to which Yamato himself isn't no saint either in this regard. Even with his relationship with Sora, he's often pressured by her because he fears corrupting her innocence if he ever introduced her to his band mates considering he knows Sora is sexually charged often, but he fears losing her to his band mates because of this. Not only that, but when it comes to his band mate Chris, he absolutely hates the guy but he doesn't bother reporting him even though it's heavily implied Chris has committed a serious crime and the band mates are trying to warn Yamato to kick him out, but Yamato's instead trying to think of a means of trying to {{Make It Look Like An Accident}} regarding what he intends for Chris.
** Sora: {{Hates Being Alone}}. Often times Sora is by herself a lot in the story; something which drives her crazy a lot because of how much she truly cares about Yamato, and the fact Yamato is almost always not very often with her because of his concerts. Ever since having been bedridden for a while due to a virus, this fear of her reduced her to a {{Shrinking Violet}} which makes her often difficult to properly socialize with others because as Mimi learns the hard way with the girls out on the town, Sora snaps in a breakdown upon missing Yamato's affection, to the point Mimi calls Yamato to show up and pick her up and orders him to stay with her to keep Sora sane. As Yamato attempts to comfort Sora, she's undergoing a {{Sanity Slippage}} until Yamato uses a trick to calm her to sleep beside him. During the nap, she has a nightmare and is shaking and awaking screaming, which she only calms down because Yamato fell asleep next to her and has her in an embrace.
** Koushirou: {{Nervous Wreck}}. How quickly he is to head to Taichi's the moment things begin to go haywire to seek out help; having known Taichi for years due to being an old friend of his having been saved by bullies be it human or Digimon, Koushirou freaks out when just about anything differs from how things were before and so much as the slightest change in patterns of something makes him far more nervous than he ever should be, even if sometimes it is warranted. When Tentomon first evolved into Kabuterimon, he freaked out at the sight of him and thought Tentomon became a nightmarish killing machine as a result. At first he couldn't battle well with Kabuterimon at all, both due to what he knows could happen giving him constant paranoia, and the fact he doesn't want to break any rules or commit a crime by accident when using any form higher than Child in regards to Tentomon or his friend's Digimon involved in his situations for that matter.
** Mimi: {{Extreme Libido}}. Mimi's sex drive is the biggest out of the entire cast; she has and can confirm that she has slept with every man in the whole group at least twice, with Taichi being the only exception at first until their second H-Scene in which Taichi learns of this fact about her. Not only that, but her sex drive in the past has caused her to get pregnant before and lose the baby each time it happened due to her reckless sense of lust. She has a similar issue to Taichi with {{Commitment Issues}}, but it's mostly out of fear of being able to feel satisfied with herself when she finally chooses a man to stick with for good. Koushirou hasn't had sex with her yet despite having known her, primarily because Mimi deemed Koushirou to prone to freaking out to the point she fears if she approaches Koushirou with the offer he'll mistake her for wanting to try and rape him.

* {{Does Not Know His Own Strength}}: His {{Fatal Flaw}}; having been blessed with incredible stamina, an attractive appearance, and while not the biggest dick still pretty impressive enough on its own for his age, he is a popular subject of sexual partners for girls to seek out. As Takeru's mind is glazed over in pleasure, he can't think properly to try and do gentle with a girl when having sex with her. Hikari, even though she can handle any punishment Takeru can give in this regard, even she has her limits considering their relationship is more open and she scolds Takeru immensely if she hears he's too rough with a particular girl. Mimi even flat out refuses to have sex with Takeru because she'll break under the pressure if she does, and Miyako is scared shitless of the idea of having to attempt anything sexual with Takeru. In fact, he's the entire reason Mimi wants to organize a girl's only trip out on town after the initial meeting, because Mimi doesn't want Meiko exposed to Takeru's brand of sex.

Thankfully Hikari has him on a leash by virtue of having the perfect amount of stamina for Takeru.

!! Yagami Taichi
!!! Debut: ''Digimon Re: Adventure''

* {{Alcohol Induced Idiocy}}: Apparently he did meet Yamato prior to the story's beginning; he was in a threesome with him and Sora and Taichi was still fast asleep by the time the two already left, causing him to forget the initial meeting even happened since they didn't leave him anything to contact him with further.
* {{Ascended Fanon}}: His father getting killed off during the Parrotmon incident is inspired by a few roleplays the author had with a friend that commonly used this as a backstory for virtually every alternate take on Taichi they ever used for their [=RPs=].
* {{Berserk Button}}: Don't touch the jacket, don't hurt his friends or family, and if you so much as scare Meiko he's going to follow yo around with a Greymon ready to kick your ass.
* {{Commitment Issues}}: His {{Fatal Flaw}}. Due to this factor alone, he's partially to blame for Meiko's horrible lifestyle to the point it comes to haunt him big time when he sees her again after so many years, since he realizes had he been more willing to be in an active relationship with her, he could've easily saved Meiko a whole lot of trouble. Meiko doesn't hold it against Taichi at all either; everyone else does considering once they realize this, some of them get rather negative very quickly towards Taichi. Hikari admittedly rebels a lot because of this alone; she dislikes having someone with zero capability to commit to a relationship to try and be in charge of her love and or sex life, considering the fact everyone who already hates Taichi tends to call him a man whore in one way or another anyways considering he has slept with almost every female lead in the story at least once.
* {{Disappeared Dad}}: His father, who has next to no presence in the actual anime despite being alive, is killed off in the prologue of this fic.
* {{Extreme Libido}}: Not as bad as Mimi's, but it's another flaw of his he has to deal with. Depending on the circumstances he often can't remember how many women he had slept with, who, or how often with the same one or more.
* {{Idiot Hero}}: How many times he could've stopped bad things from happening had he took the time to think can all boil down to this. His {{Commitment Issues}} above seem to be the biggest thing bugging him though.
* {{Interface Spoiler}}: The story tags list him as being paired with Meiko, meaning his sex scene with Mimi in Chapter 1 was just a one night stand exactly as it was intended. [[spoiler:Then again he does have sex with Mimi a second time to let out some pent up frustration after having not had sex for a full week after having been oddly prudish just to try and appease to Meiko until Meiko told him to stop and just screw someone for his own sanity.]]
* {{Lovable Sex Maniac}}: Subverted in that this has gotten him into trouble in the past, but he's a very nice person aside from his commitment issues.
* {{Mythology Gag}}: His introduction and debut in the fic parallels the prequel movie made for ''Digimon Adventure'' with the Greymon and Parrotmon fight.
** His dad dying in the same incident is also noted above in {{Ascended Fanon}}.
** While so far no appearance of the Digimon in question, Taichi wears his father's jacket in an identical fashion to how Gankoomon of the Royal Knights wears a jacket as a cape.
* {{Noodle Incident}}: A rumor spreads around often that Taichi is apparently so horny he'd be perfectly willing to ask Hikari to have sex with him and she would give him her full consent since she always had been asking for it. Whether or not Taichi and Hikari did have sex beforehand at all or not, Hikari does have her own deviant of this of sometimes dreaming of herself getting fucked hard by her older brother, and it apparently happens very often due to how often Hikari has difficulty talking to her brother when it isn't related to anything Taichi himself did directly to have her avoid him.
* {{OOC Is Serious Business}}: He apparently can't bring himself to be his usual horny self when it comes to Meiko whatsoever.
* {{Tragic Keepsake}}: His father's jacket.

!! Agumon
!!! Debut: ''Digimon Re: Adventure''

* {{Big Eater}}: While not explicit that he did, he ate the most stuff regarding the pizza everyone had at their first get together event. Downplayed in the aftermath of [[spoiler:him and Taichi being stuck in the Digital World for a month]], in which he learns to not be so problematic about this or his {{Picky Eater}} self beforehand.
* {{Boisterous Bruiser}}: As Greymon when compared to his prior forms.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Sometimes complains about certain foods, eats them anyways, often just as an excuse to invade someone else's kitchen behind Taichi's back.
* {{Idiot Hero}}: Doesn't tend to think a lot when it comes to strategy; only thing that comes to mind is to use a lot of brute force.
* {{Picky Eater}}: Changes his mind a lot about the food he eats as to whether he'll have any of it or not.
* {{Leeroy Jenkins}}: His {{Fatal Flaw}}; his combat style has no subtly, and his {{Boisterous Bruiser}} habits often lead to him very often {{Calling Your Attacks}}, to the point Taichi often has to enter the ring himself to help Greymon function properly.
* {{Wham Shot}}: [[spoiler:Evolving into [=SkullGreymon=] and having none of the problems his canon self had with the form; in fact he's just more of a more disgruntled version of himself as Greymon.]]

!! Takaishi Takeru

* {{Delinquent}}: Not as much as his brother, but he qualifies to a degree.
Unfortunately, this is a double-edged sword for them as they don't tend to learn until too late that there is something known as too much of a good thing; in the bedroom Takeru is a brute when it comes to his stamina and how unwittingly rough he is with his partners during intercourse, and also the various positions he prefers which showcase his immense strength very well.
* {{Lovable Sex Maniac}}: He's far more innocent in this regard when compared to Taichi or Mimi, but he's also notorious for being incredibly rough and having a good amount of stamina, so he's not exactly everyone's cup of tea unless you have stamina that can match his own because otherwise you'll either break trying to endure his incredible stamina or have to forcefully blue ball Takeru a good night just to get him to stop. Thankfully Hikari has him on a leash by virtue of having the perfect amount of stamina for Takeru.

* {{Why Dont You Just Shoot Him}}: [[spoiler:[=GrandisKuwagamon=] asks him this upon struggling to hold back Patamon as Angemon, as it's very, very clear that Devimon's not going to stand even the slightest chance against Angemon in the slightest if the two ever fought; considering the absolute thrashing Angemon gives [=GrandisKuwagamon=], he's single-handedly the strongest Adult Level form of the whole cast.]]
