* Officially, the Ghost Face Killer in ''VideoGame/DeadByDaylight'' is not a license of the ''Film/{{Scream}}'' franchise; he's a fully original character named Danny Johnson who operated in states between Utah and Pennsylvania rather than ''Scream'''s primary setting of California. However, the writers did everything they could to evoke that series, giving him a backstory steeped in technology and social media, along with a themed costume which evokes the simple Halloween store outfit of the movies. And considering the films have never had the same person don the Ghost Face costume in multiple installments, it's fitting for this Ghost Face to also be unique.
