* In issue #1, In order to fight the giant alien that crashed into New York City, Synch (who is synched with Forge) thinks up a plan and Marvel Girl telepathically conveys it to everyone and, together, they build a ''giant X-Mecha'' with Sunfire powering it, a giant X, and a hole that Cyclops can shoot his eyebeams through in the front. Aside from getting it's arm ripped off, it works out splendidly, and is a thrilling indication of what can come from the X-Men’s new power combinations.
