* "In The Beginning": The very opening scene itself, depicting the Creation story in a condensed form, nonetheless shows us in spectacular fashion what the series will be offering as far as the CGI rendering is concerned. It helps that the swelling of the majestic-sounding background music enhances the creative power that we see portrayed on the screen.

* "Paul Keeps the Faith": While it's largely a funny moment (and is also listed under the series' [[Funny/Superbook2011 funny moments]]), there's no denying that Gizmo's use of a camera-strobe-light to blind some guards, to facilitate the kids rescuing Christian believer Julia from interrogation and execution by Nero's guards, is just as awesome as it is funny. Bonus points for Gizmo willingly tarrying a few extra seconds just to blind the guards ''again'' with the strobe-light (another funny bit in itself).

* "Jesus--Friend of Sinners": The kids are trapped in a dark alley by some residents who are throwing stones (they're hunting the woman who will later wash Jesus's feet with the expensive ointment, and have mistaken the kids for her). Gizmo's response? He brings out a massive rubber shield that sprouts from his chest and deflects the stones, even [[AttackReflector sending some right back at the throwers]] and forcing them to flee.

* "Love Your Enemies": As tragic as Stephen's death is, his TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to the Jewish leaders beforehand is still utterly epic.
--> '''Stephen:''' You stubborn and hard-headed people, you are always fighting against the Holy Spirit, just as your ancestors did. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, who have received the law by the direction of angels and ''[[PunctuatedForEmphasis have! ** Prior to that, Gizmo has a smaller but still epic moment of his own. Satan has just caused several huge trees to grow in order to trap Chris with him, blocking Joy and Gizmo from reaching them in the process. Joy cries out for Gizmo to do something. What does Gizmo do? He backs out a pair of buzz-saw blades from his wrists and immediately starts drilling into the trees, creating a hole big enough for Chris to leap through.

--> '''God:''' Whom have you been defying and ridiculing? Against whom did you raise your voice? At whom did you look with such haughty eyes? It was the Holy One of Israel! I planned for you to crush fortified cities into heaps of rubble. That is why their people have so little power and are so frightened and confused. But I know you well--where you stay and when you come and go. I know the way you have raged against Me. And because of your raging against Me and your arrogance, which I have heard for Myself, I will put My hook in your nose and My bit in your mouth. I will make you return by the same road on which you came.

Daniel opening his bedroom window because he's not going to hide the fact that he's praying to God, even though getting caught will mean he'll go into the lions' den (and for which cause Chris had previously shut the window to try and prevent such a fate), with glorious-looking light coming into the room as a result of said window-opening and with majestic-sounding music all throughout? * "The Ten Commandments": Exodus 32 outlines just how angry Moses got when he came down from Mount Sinai and saw the Israelites worshiping the golden calf; in this episode, we get to see him in full UnstoppableRage mode, culminating in him physically pushing the golden calf, which is the size of an actual calf, off its high pedestal. To put that act in perspective: a single gold bar weighs 12.4 kilograms (roughly 27 pounds), and the idol has obviously been molded from way more gold than that. Moses, at the time of the Sinai experience, is in his 80s. He single-handedly, without any form of aid, pushes over a heavy life-sized gold idol that, given his age and its approximate weight, he normally shouldn't be able to even budge--''that's how mad at the Israelites he is.''
