Lord Seth: Didn't go through YKTTW because it seemed natural to make this along with Anticlimax. If anyone can better describe The Climax than I can, feel free to give it a shot!

Vampire Buddha: I'd suggest renaming it Climax. That would fit better with Anticlimax than The Climax does.

Lord Seth: I thought about that, but people almost always refer to a climax with the definite article. I think it seems more natural this way (and "The Climax" sounds a bit more dramatic!)

Vampire Buddha: I've expanded the entry to discuss some different types and presentations of climax.

It's been a while, but I'm going to reaffirm my opinion that this entry be renamed Climax. Sure, most people preface it with the word 'the', but that's because most works of fiction only have one climax. It's like the word 'Denoument' - most works of fiction only have one denoument per story, even more than have one climax per story, but it's still just called 'denoument'.

Also, I removed this, on account of it being pointless:

Examples:
*Not counting anticlimaxes, almost every single piece of fiction ever made (and many pieces of nonfiction!) contains an example of this trope. \\

Lord Seth: I still prefer The Climax. Also, I thought the "example", although pointless, was kind of funny.

Anon: Hi. I vote this page has some examples of particularly remarkable ones. Really well done or memorable ones only.
