//um... Buffy often used other weapons - the Troll's Hammer, that Super-Axe that she killed Mal with, a crossbow... In fact, a complete list of all the weapons she used over the course of the series can be found here: http://www.angelicslayer.com/tbcs/weapons.html

Hint: she used many, many weapons. - anon

Looney Toons: Belongs in discussion, not on main entry page.

Chuckg: Also, removed the 'Why didn't Angelus just shoot her?' question. Answer: Angelus did not want Buffy to die, he wanted her to live and thus continue to receive his emotional and physical abuse. This was emphasized constantly throughout the last half of Season 2.

Sci Vo: Is it time to turn this into an index?

Spectrum: I am leaning toward "yes". The article is full of pointless examples of sword fights. The only ones that have any reason to be mentioned are the cases where people use swords even though one would think they shouldn't. The perfectly sensible examples should die. IMO.

Wyvernil: This article seems a bit confused. Half of it seems to be a general sword-related index, and the other half is about sword fights in genres where it wouldn't make sense.

Personally, my opinion on this is to focus this article on swords and swordfighting alone, and move the obligatory duel-related trope to a new trope. (Cross-genre sword fights may also be covered by Not Compensating for Anything) I have The Obligatory Duel on YKKTW right now for this purpose.

What do you think?
