  • Darker and Edgier - The Dark Side of the Moon.
    • And it just went downhill from there, culminating in The Wall. What? There was never a Pink Floyd album called ''The Final Cut'', nor any more after that.
      • Blasphemer. You had better hide, hide, hide. Behind paranoid eyes.
    • For every album there's somebody out there loudly proclaiming that the band went downhill from there. The most popular targets seem to be post-Barrett, post-The Wall, and post-Waters. Your mileage may vary; it's a large and varied discography afterall.
      • Original troper: I realise that this veers into Natter, but I meant that it got darker and edgier from D Sot M onwards, not that the quality of the music decreased.
