Seanette: Cut "(and regular phones too)" from discussion of the cell-phone transmitted brainwipe (aka "The Pulse") from Cell, since at least one character discusses having used a landline in the wake of this event without being harmed (I'm currently re-reading this book). Granted, landlines do not stay useful for long, since the system collapses.
