Kilyle: I realize that it seems nonsensical on the surface, but really, it seems that restaurants are comparing their drinks to some unnamed scale that includes drinks they don't have but which they assume we consumers should be aware of. They would be flat-out wrong to call their 64-oz super drink "small," even if it's the smallest one on the menu and they have fifteen larger sizes. So yes, it may not make much sense, but this sort of comparison is apt.

Visla: The page is actually wrong (or at least only partially correct) about why it is legal to say something is "the best" but not that it is "better than X". This has nothing to do with what the product is and whether all of them are the same. As a matter of law, some claims (general praise and hyperbole) are considered "mere puffery" whereas direct comparisons to other products are considered "substantive." I don't know that members of the wiki really care, so I decided to leave a comment on the discussion before I went and re-did it.

This Troper : Not a member here, but just to end the quote-unquote (MASSIVE EDIT WAR) that was apparently causing an issue on this page, the wording was slightly changed to "a single flavor of". If this is an issue, I'll change it back, or you can if you want to. :)
