Nate The Great: Where did this "Ruto's bottle is really old" idea come from? Are you extrapolating from her statements, getting information from the manga, or what? I always assumed that Ruto was simply lying about not sending the bottle. It's not like lying would be so terribly out of character for her.
Some Guy: Based on in-game text. I don't remember the exact dialog, but Ruto says that she goes into Jabu Jabu all the time, but this time he's acting differently. I interpreted this to mean that she did send the bottle, a long time ago, and had simply forgotten about it because she didn't think Jabu Jabu swallowing her was that big a deal anymore.
