Whogus The Whatsler: This happened to my father, too. He put his wedding ring aside while gardening, but when he was done it was gone, and no amount of searching could locate it. The leading theory is that my older brother, then aged one, picked it up and played with it in all the upturned earth, and it wound up getting buried in some random spot. Anyway, five years later they're landscaping the yard in preparation to sell, and it just happens to turn up. Life is funny, no?

Kilyle: Obviously there's more than enough examples of specifically a wedding ring, but what of similarly meaningful objects? In Prince Camaralzaman and Princess Badoura, the prince and princess get separated at the halfway point and spend the rest of the story apart until they meet again at the end. All because the prince woke up in the middle of the night, got curious about a talisman the princess had tucked in her belt, took it out into the moonlight for a better look, and got it stolen by a crow.

Cheesypoof: Seen It A Million Times with wedding videos getting taped over. If anybody has any examples to help me out...
