SAMAS: That Star Wars bit came off not only as inaccurate, but way too much like Complaining About Shows You Dont Like.

Ruthie A: Not sure if I should put this in as a Justifying Edit or not, but in the Star Trek example, while the Evil Captain Kirk was the more decisive of the two, and the Good Captain Kirk did have troubles because he was without that part of him, his good side is, in the end, more courageous and much more able to handle the mental stress of being split into good and evil halves. The example probably fits the trope to some degree, but that's not exactly the whole story (at least in my opinion, I could be wrong).

Lots42: Does Angel from Buffy count? In a few psychic adventures and in general character development, it's shown that Angel's demon aspect tends to push him along on the 'Let's kick some ass and do some good' path. Same with Buffy, to a degree. And to turn it upside down, Spike didn't start doing good until he was unable to slaughter the tasty humans.

Nentuaby: Removed the following:

  • It was the same in both of the remakes 'in the wild west' and 'with Samurai'

It's not only thread mode, but totally incoherant... IT was obviously meant to follow something, but there's no evidence of quite what. Re-add the example if you can figure out what the example is.
