- Augusto Pinochet is said to have enforced his curfew with snipers.
Gattsuru: Er... by who? I'm not particularly proud to be defending Pinochet, but this is really the first I've heard of this. The curfew killed a lot of nightlife and pretty heavily stepped on people's freedoms, but violations of the curfew were a bit common for snipers to be waiting for them to occur, and a google search on "pinochet curfew snipers" doesn't seem to show anything like this.
