Willbyr: Moving this here, I can't find any kind of link to tell what this is supposed to be.

  • Subverted in "Forgotten Tales of Nerhûn: A Future's Vision", where Elise frustratedly smashes the control panel of a gun that has been set to automatically fire on The Shining Star, an interstellar ship. Though, she did this because she was used to the fail-open/fail-closed systems used in her own shuttle, the Яæщџя-XΛJ.
    • How do you pronounce Яæщџя-XΛJ?
      • I'm not sure it is pronounceable — if read as a mixture of Russian and Serbian letters it's something like "ya-ashch-dzhya Kha El Ya", but I'm pretty sure none of the three major variants of Cyrillic use an ae ligature for much of anything (it is used in Ossetic though).
      • If this troper recall correctly, "џ" is pronounced as "ts" in Macedonian and "æ" is pronounced like the "a" in "bat" with the International Phonetic Alphabet. Unless "æ" is just a fancy "ae", in which case it would be "aye".
