dkellis: Can't speak for Comic Books (maybe in decompressed ones?), but manga has them all over the place, whether Yonkoma or otherwise.
Sci Vo: We still don't have a Manga page. I put it up on YKTTW, but I'm hoping for someone who, y'know, actually reads manga to launch it. Since I don't. (hint hint)
Daibhid C: Regarding beat panels in comic books; the Giffen/DeMatthis comedy Justice League had them all the time, long before decompression.
