Awesome, Awesome, Awesome

Darth Vader: The Comic. Need I say more?

With the Legends reboot, so much of Darth Vader's story between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back is open to interpretation — and writer Kieron Gillen, artist Salvador Larroca, and colourist Edgar Delgado have taken that opportunity to craft an amazing story.

Imagine stepping into the boots (and armour) of Darth Vader during a regular day not long after the Battle of Yavin. Add in a female Indiana Jones, evil versions of R2-D2 and C-3PO, and Vader's own Bad Bosses — two of them — and you'll have a pretty good idea of what you're in for (hint: awesome and hilarious adventures).

This is, in my opinion, one of the best stories in the new Star Wars canon — certainly the best comic. If you have any interest whatsoever, I highly, HIGHLY suggest you search this book out. It is amazing.

Note: At the time of this writing, I have just read Issue #8. The series still has plenty of room for growth and potential for new stories.
