She. Is. AWESOME.

Lady Gaga is awesome. She may be either batshit insane or she knows exactly what she's doing- it's hard to tell. But the acoustic covers of Poker Face and Paparazzi proves she can sing, and incredibly, as well.

But the insane, weird, quirky woman we all know and love is great too. She is a modern day eccentric genius, and maybe avant-garde as well. I doubt it, but it's art, whatever she does.

At first, I couldn't stand her. I hated Intercourse With You songs. But then, I was introduced to Paparazzi. I loved it. So I listened to Poker Face and loved that too. Then Bad Romance, Telephone and finally the song that I originally hated the most- Love Game. It was awesome.

Now, I'm much less uptight about music- don't get me wrong, I love Broadway and classical- but Lady Gaga is still my favorite singer.

Will point out... those aren't acoustic. They're solo (three-handed) piano, and being a music school graduate, she must know it. I'm guessing calling them "acoustic" was an in-joke.

She is pretty impressive, though. The first album was just better than most mainstream pop (not exactly stiff competition), but the Monster was actually impressive.

Interesting.....interesting..... The one and only song that drew me into her spectacle that was not mentioned which coincidentally also propelled her into F.A.M.E., was 'Just Dance.'

At first I thought "Doh, another vapid aspiring pop singer shooting out commercial, by-the-numbers hits that will be forgotten and trashed two months later. And vulgar, to boot" And then Just Dance grew on me, and I listened to the rest of the album, and I bought it even, and now I'm a fan of her music, if not her persona.

Hmmm, I'm the other way, her music is on the better side of So Okay Its Average but I love her persona, I like oddness, and some weirdness in pop culture is exactly what the world needs.

Me Too. I actually thought that the best parts of the "Telephone" were when she wasn't singing and was just... being Lady Gaga. Well, that and the tiberium.

What got me was the One Piece Shout Out, out of all the shows, why that one? Is she a fan, or is one of her producers a fan? It's not a really popular show in the states, so the reference will only be gotten by a handful of people, people who I doubt have much overlap as fans of hers.

Don't get the hatred for her, why do so many people say she sucks and can't sing? She can obviously sing

Lady Ga Ga is how I learned to stop worrying and just love music, no matter what genre.

Before that, I was horribly elitist about what I'd listen to and I'd treat people with contempt if they listened to something I hated. Ever since listening to Poker Face and exploring her more, I've learnt to relax and just enjoy a song without wondering what it meant for me to like it.

It's opened me up to a lot of good music I would have overlooked before :)

I watched Bad Romance and thought it was completely awesome. Then I saw Poker Face and Alejandro and was left dissapointed. Recently I saw Paparazzi and Telephone though and was reassured that she was not a one-hit-wonder.

I'm feeling strangely happy now, contented and serene. Oh don't you see, finally I'll be, somewhere that's green...

I first heard "Just Dance" and said, "Meh, it's catchy." But then I saw her performance at the MTV Video Awards. It became "Okay, you have my attention." By the time I heard "Judas" It was, "I don't care what anyone else says, Gaga is awesome!"
