Not being much of a Distressed Damsel prevents her from being a Barrier Maiden as well, I think...
Edited by Octagon8 Mm. If you excuse me, I must go set my own city on fire. Count Selvan, Radiant HistoriaI've seen a few Wild Arms 2 gameplay videos, and to me it seems like the Omega Team is partially a Shout-Out to the Cocytus Squad... Can anyone who played the game confirm this?
Edited by Octagon8 Mm. If you excuse me, I must go set my own city on fire. Count Selvan, Radiant HistoriaThere's an entry on the page that goes something like this:
- Game-Breaking Bug: the game is literally unplayable on Vista.
Anybody have any elaboration for this?
Now Bloggier than ever before! Hide / Show RepliesThe font the game uses doesn't come with Vista. You have to download it separately, and you need to mess with your system settings to make it work. Otherwise, the game has no text.
Late, but re: Hilbert's age, I asked my brother who saw the original Last Scenario topic on Something Awful, and apparently SCF posted the ages there. Hilbert is nineteen. The only other age he remembers is Lorenza (seventeen), but that clears that up.
Hide / Show RepliesThank you and your brother for researching that. Another LS question is solved...
Edited by octagon "Do you always talk to random strangers at the streets? Get a life!" - a random stranger, Exit FateFor the character page, does Bergheim deserve an entry? I also think that some of the characters need to be fleshed out or removed, since in some cases their portraits are longer than their descriptions, which messes up the spacing. (It was most obvious with King Alfred and Alison, which I fixed by adding a few sentences and a trope to King Alfred)
Edit: Moved around the entries as well. If you put the smallest entry at the bottom, it'll have extra space since the folder title takes up a line. Did that for Wolfram and Newick, but Wolfram still cuts through the bottom line of the page and Valentin still cuts into Saraswati's title by a few pixels. I'd suggest fleshing out Wolfram so we can put Valentin on the bottom. Also, should we try to add more quotes?
Edited by Fool "Would you stake your life on a world that cannot be saved?" -The ReconstructionIs saying "Your Mileage May Vary" Natter? From what I understand, that isn't the case.
"Would you stake your life on a world that cannot be saved?" -The Reconstruction Hide / Show RepliesFrom what I understand, the Your Mileage May Vary part wasn't natter, it was the "This Troper" part. It's possible to put the statement back in if the This Troper part is removed, I think.
Wait, saying "This Troper" counts as Natter now? That's...confusing. I must have really been out of the loop, then. o_O I'll see if I can put it back in.
Edit: Actually, it seems like there's really no way not to say "me" or "I" in that phrase either... *sigh*
Edited by Fool "Would you stake your life on a world that cannot be saved?" -The ReconstructionIt doesn't exactly count as natter, just bad wiki writing. There might be a way to put the phrase back in, but it's gonna sound kind of awkward.
"Bad wiki writing"? So speaking in first person isn't allowed even if it says something relevant, but horribly screwing it up so that it sounds like Time-Travel Tense Trouble and is incoherent isn't? Quite frankly, that's ridiculous. And yes, I've read the This Troper article and its reasoning for it doesn't make sense to me either.

Edited by Octagon8 "Do you always talk to random strangers at the streets? Get a life!" - a random stranger, Exit Fate...Hilbert is The Messiah? I'm...not too sure about that. He's definitely a Wide-Eyed Idealist, but I'm not sure if he's quite the level of a Messiah.

Is Lorenza really a Barrier Maiden? She's capable of performing the Awakening, but her existence alone isn't keeping the fabric of reality intact.
