I'm reasonably sure that King's Bounty - at least the modern Russian series - doesn't count as a turn-based strategy. The only turn-based thing there is a TACTICAL battle system. Events outside of battles are in real time. And these events include no controlling the territory, no building anything in castles, no hiring multiple heroes. So King's Bounty lacks what is generally considered strategical elements. On the other hand, the game does have skill trees and quest lines. Gameplay-wise, it's an RPG with tactical elements, making it a close kin of Disgaea and co. It's not exactly clear where it can be placed according to the TV Tropes classification, but a TBS it is not.
