Removed examples:

Elements of Harmony

  • In "The Elements of Harmony", right after Nightmare Moon has been defeated and transformed back to Princess Luna, and Princess Celestia talks her into coming back with her. Luna running towards her sister, embracing her, and saying "I'm so sorry! I missed you so much, big sister!"(especially the way she says the second line) is enough of a tear-jerker. Celestia, crying, just smiles and chokes back, "I missed you too."
    • Let's not forget the face that Princess Luna makes when she hears Celestia saying that line. If you don't feel soft-hearted at the end of that part, you have no heart at all!
    • Many fans have commented that the background music at the end of the episode drove them to tears. The music that plays during Celestia & Luna's reunion is also tear inducing.
  • The first union of the Elements of Harmony is this for original fans way back in the eighties who remember what the Rainbow of Light is, and how it showed up just when things were at their most hopeless for Megan and the G1 ponies, too.

These are Heartwarming Moments. Tear Jerker is for sad moments, so whoever added them had the wrong page.

These entries have been removed with a good reason. Don't put them back without discussing it here, please.

Dragon Quest

  • The fact that Spike had to cut and paste a picture of himself into a group photo of the mane 6, rather than be in the picture is really depressing. It doesn't help that it looks like the picture was taken at Twilight's birthday party.

Sweet and Elite

  • If you pay attention, you'll notice that Spike isn't at Twilight's birthday party. Spike, Twilight's number 1 assistant and the closest thing she has to a son/little brother, wasn't invited to her birthday. Imagine how lonely he must be back at the library.

I'm sorry Septimus Heap, for the times I put them up. I had no idea that there was a reason why they were taken down. I'll stop doing it. I hope that you'll forgive me.

And what exactly was the reason they were removed? I'm just wondering. I never saw the initial discussion about them.

This page isn't for the CHARACTERS that cried, it's...well...it's for entries that can make a real-life person cry.

Hmm? It's the characters' reactions that have made us cry.

...and how is that moment in "Sonic Rainboom" enough to make me cry? That wasn't sad, it was an awesome moment.

I'd have to agree with Dark Deoxys here. I mean, all the moments here are just ones that make you feel sad. You'd have to be real pathetic to break down in tears when Sweetie Belle can't have a sleepover with her friends at Rarity's house.

In an unrelated note, why the hell is fanart and fanvideos here? They're fucking fanfiction. If we had a fanart/video/fiction folder in every crowner page, the entire wiki would be filled up in a week. They're not examples.

This is a subjective trope, after all. Whenever I see an adorable fuzzy character crying, I automatically tear up. :P Some people are just like that.

In a note related to the unrelated note, I agree. -_- This and the other MLP subpages are mostly fan works. It was really bad before the show was as big, because it seemed like people would shoehorn in canon examples to justify having the pages.

Actually a girl.
