Pulled these from the Birds of Prey section.

• Gail Simone has revealed that her Brave and the Bold will feature a reference to Catman, Huntress' on-again/off-again boyfriend from the Secret Six (which, incidentally, is also written by Simone).
• Cassandra Cain, the second Batgirl, was mentioned in Issue #10 and Red Robin (Tim Drake) wonders why she does not have access to Oracle's new hideout and activities. Barbara explains that she does not see giving out access as a privilege, but as a burden, and Cassandra has enough issues of her own to deal with right now. This also refers to Gail Simone's own efforts to feature Cassandra in at least a guest spot in the series, which she had said was upcoming, but which could not be implemented because of factors at DC Comics.

Mentioning DC Comics characters from the Bat-stable in Batman-related media isn't really a shout out. The former might be a Continuity Cameo, except I don't think it actually happened.

"A novel and live-action movie (early 1980's), 'Wolfen', has perhaps influenced Wolfsbane of the New Mutants. The emphasis on both the sensory details of her wolf-form, and the link with native Americans."

"Link with native Americans" is overstating it a bit, surely? Wolfsbane happens to have a friend who's native American, because she was introduced as part of a Five-Token Band.
