Can someone please do something about that new image on the main Nightmare Fuel: Western Animation TV page?, because it's freaking me out.
Edited by 69.172.221.4 Mister TterevelWouldn't Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics belong in Eastern Animation since they were animated by a Japanese company and lean more toward an anime appearance?
I have a couple requests.
First, is the Chalk Zone page really necessary? Not one example would scare even a five year-old. I mean dirty dipers and Scrawl. That's obviously meant to be funny.
Second there's a couple page images I would like to get replaced for being Not Safe for Work and too extreme. The one on the Courage the Cowardly Dog and Spongebob Square Pants pages. Maybe the Courage page could get Freaky Fred or perhaps the Weird Moon. As for Spongebob, there was a nice picture of Doodlebob we could use or the Hash Slinging Slasher. These would get the message while not making one slam their monitor to get the picture off. I, as a horror fan, am terrified to check the pages and dread accidentally clicking on them.
Please respond soon.
Hide / Show RepliesYeah, the whole point of Chalkzone was to make a very lighter Nicktoon after Invader Zim (which gave a ton of children nightmares). I agree with you on Courage but I think that the Spongebob image is fine.
The Spongebob image I'm refering to is that Nightmare Face from "Who Bob What Pants". The really realistic Gross-Up Close-Up complete with sunken, bloodshot eyes and tatered clothes is too much. Please tell me if that's the same image. However I've just recently gotten use to Perfect Trumpet Thingy, after all I coined the term.
The list appears to be awfully biased. There are several entries of shows that aren't even close to nightmare fuel but are still controversial when it comes to popularity or reception. I'd suggest to take a more closely look at the entries and filter "unpopular" or "hated" shows out and just leave those that are truely nightmare fuel. Since I am a fairly new troper I don't think I should filter the examples but I suggest there is still the need to revise the list.
