im late on this reply but i wholeheartedly agree, could do something from one of the resident evil remakes or dead space games?
Why is the Nightmare Fuel page for Battle Arena Toshinden a redlink?
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade Hide / Show RepliesNo one bothered to added the horrifying entried yet. The page can still be edited though at the moment.
Anyone play the game Which by Mike Inel? This game reeks with Nothing Is Scarier.
Edited by ViperAcidZXWhy are so much NON scary games on there? Sure people say "the fear factor can scare adults", but most of them, can't even scare kids! Maybe let the kids say wow, thats scary compared to other non-scary games, but are overall not scary at all. Legend of zelda, pokemon, eversion, metroid, metal gear and batman, are not scary to adults at all, and they will only think, is that what people are afraid of these days? What wimps. Seriously, I bet people who wrote the kiddy stuff have only played te kiddy stuff. People who play Zelda tend to play NOTHING else. thus theythink its scary. Thats incredibly unfair. Now people who have played both scary AND nonscary (me) who has played Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, nintendofreak stuff, AND played Resident evil, silent hill, and call of duty will know RE Silent Hill and COD will win in a landslide. theyre scary enough to scare adults, and even some of them aren't. Call of duty isn't even tat scary despite gore and blood everywhere. And people are criticsing Resident evil for being too nonscary. resident evil being too nonscary. The majority of people in the world are going to laugh to the little wimps who think Nintendo games are scary and think young people are too afraid of everything these days. Cmon nintendofreaks I'm one too but youve gotta play more than just those kiddy games. Resident evil is even for te wii!
I'm gone from this site. Takes up too much time Hide / Show RepliesWow, i wrote a lot. Sorry 0_0
I'm gone from this site. Takes up too much timeSupermariofans my sister, but its like the same thing. Im sorry she blanked the page. She was trying to REDIRECT it. And nows shes angry shes blocked so I look it up here. And it looks just like she said it would. Still could you please tell me why its like this? And why youre the only one answering me?
I'm gone from this site. Takes up too much timeResident evil 4 rocks btw. Youve gotta play it.
I'm gone from this site. Takes up too much timeA subjective trope, friend. People find different things scary.
Also, refrain from calling your fellow tropers 'wimps'.
You can see someone else called you tropers a wimp before too. Well, you people are scared of rather little things. And fellow tropers...
I'm gone from this site. Takes up too much timeYes, Leogando, your a manly man.
Not all of us are.
this is very much a YMMV trope.
No mention of the Manhunt series (especially the uncensored PC version of Manhunt 2) or am I missing something here?
Hide / Show RepliesI can't speak for everyone but I found it to not be that disturbing myself and this IS a YMMV type of trope..
I fell they are way too many subpages. I don't mind having 7 or 10 but the number here is overwhelming. You need to tone down.
Hide / Show RepliesUm.. why do you feel that way?
Would you rather have them all crammed into one page?
Nameless troper who posted this..
Mission 11 (also known as Operation Cannibal), where you are helping Allied forces destroy/secure a Belkan Industrial center via providing escort for bombers that pretty much carpet bombing the entire place. Keeping in mind that you are literally HELPING cause the deaths of untold military personnel and civilians, the first time I played that mission I gradually went from a "kill'em all" attitude to a "Dear God, what am I doing?" to finally having nightmares about being on the receiving end of said mission.
Thank you for reaffirming my faith and reminding me not everyone is a bloodthirsty warmonger. Not everyone realizes war is hell.
Am I the only one who think Demonophobia is completely fucked up to the point that it's ensured to give nightmares? Seriously, ever since I watched a Let's Play of it by DDRManiac007 before he got banned on YouTube and censored it after getting his account back, I've had nightmares of the game for a week and such horrific deaths can never escape my mind.
Edited by ViperAcidZXWhy is Team Fortress 2 here. None of the things listed are even remotely scary, especially the gmod animation things.
You guys have a very low expectation for what qualifies as an Eldritch Abomination
Hide / Show RepliesYou know the mantra: what one person's nightmare fuel is one person's nightmare retardant. But from what This Troper experienced, even though it was funny as hell, it was...pretty disturbing.
Aw puck, Darkwing's on a killing spree again, we guillotin'in again..
Edited by Leoganado I'm gone from this site. Takes up too much timeI really regret not thinking Shadow Teddy was all that scary. That unexpected zombie...THING...from Clive Barkers Jericho nearly made my heart stop.
SNUGGLERAPE. Hide / Show RepliesI'm gonna sort of miss Shadow Teddy. He was a lot scarier than that skeleton thingy, IMO. I almost hit the ceiling the first time he popped up in my browser window. In full daylight no less! That zombie guy is pretty scary, but not nearly as much.
Edited by egomaniac_42My reaction to the new picture can be summed up in 4 words: Bring My Brown Pants.
Am I only one who thinks that Redeads and Shadow Temple aren't scary at all?
Okay, so I thought I'd try proposing something here to gauge people's thoughts before I took it to the forums: is anyone else up for changing the page image? I've just always felt like having a random monster from the Alone In The Dark reebot as THE face of videogame Nightmare Fuel is kinda doing a disservice to far more iconic moments of horror from other games, especially when that game doesn't even have enough examples to warrant its own individual Nightmare Fuel page.
