Why is RWBY, a cartoon, in 'web original' instead of western animation? I've seen this on a few pages, this just happened to be one. It was created and published by someone on the internet, but it's still animation... (Not angry, just curious.)

  • Every single character in Arthur. Seriously, the main kids in Third Grade could pass off as 13-to-17 year olds! This is also a case of Artistic Age.

None of the kids is confused with a teenager in-story."Similar, but not to be confused with Artistic Age, where this is due to art rather than in-story causes. "

  • Punch-Out!! fans often forget Mac is only seventeen. This is mostly due to the fact he fights against adults, sometimes twice his age.
  • On Link, none of them have been even eighteen. His default 'adult' age is around sixteen but people often mistake him for a nineteen or twenty year old. His short height in comparison to others might even mean he's not finished with puberty.

Neither Mac neither Link are confused as nineteen or twenty years old in-universe."Similar, but not to be confused with Artistic Age, where this is due to art rather than in-story causes."
