* ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'': Team Rocket (or more specifically Jessie and James) are supposed to be ''15'', despite looking and sounding significantly older than everyone else. Subverted, as this is implied to be them lying about their age though, as other material suggests Jessie is twenty-five. While some semi-official English sources back in the day placed them around 17, the original is explicit about them approaching 25. Musashi/Jessie's rage button about being called an old hag/oban is because she nearly is one, her mother Miyamoto laments it in her recordings (snippets of Miyamoto's ramblings while lost in the Andes mountains at the start of each chapter, talking about her daughter she couldn't watch grow up, provide us with clues as to when each part of Mewtwo's origin story takes place). This is also the reason for her obsession with getting married and settling down as soon as possible. By ''Diamond & Pearl'', Kojiro/James also looks visibly pained when a little boy calls him ojisan (implying he's an old man).

* Mildly subverted in ''Anime/BubblegumCrisis'': given how long ago sexaroids were labeled as illegal by the series start, we get the implication that while Sylvie and Anri may not be as old as they look (Sylvie appears in her mid-twenties while Anri looks to be the loli model), they're not single digit ages.

* In ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'', Mayor Mare, the supposedly elderly grey-maned mayor of Ponyville, is revealed to have naturally ''pink'' hair that she [[DyeHard dyes grey]]. It's implied she does that to give herself an air of professionalism, and that her age is far more ambiguous than one might think.

* Eisenstein, a minor-ish character in In ''ComicBook/{{Preacher}}'', has "looked over Starr meets Eisenstein, a hundred" key figure in the Grail in the 1970s, the man showing a horribly wrinkled face, hunched body and leaning on a cane. Almost 30 years later, Starr is shocked to meet with Eisenstein again, openly hissing "how can he be alive, he looked like a hundred when we met!" As if he's heard him, Eisenstein states that "I have looked like this since he I was 12.12 years old."

* In ''Manga/YonaOfTheDawn'', it's astonishingly easy to forget that Hak is actually ''seven years'' younger than 25-year-old Jaeha, given how well they get along and how much their maturity level seems to match up. Jaeha too seems to deem him as the second adult in the manga's main cast, as he's the only character Jaeha doesn't use the "-kun" honorific to address him with--and that includes [[OlderThanTheyLook Kija]], who's a good 2 years older than Hak is.
