re Christian reading of the Bible: since the “Old Testament” was rewritten/deliberately mistranslated in places so as to seem to predict elements of the New, I’d be surprised if there weren’t “surprising” connections between the two.

(Actually, who needs love when one has music?...)

Linking to a past Trope Repair Shop thread that dealt with this page: Rework so it's not YMMV, started by JackMackerel on Feb 1st 2011 at 1:58:04 AM

I took a look through the 'related' page - this trope appears on like 200 YMMV pages, but it's not a YMMV Trope. Can someone please explain?

I do know what I'm doing. What I don't know is why. Hide / Show Replies

I think it was formerly YMMV.

Yes, it was formerly YMMV. Not sure why it was YMMV in the first place.

  • The Legend of Korra: In light of the Grand Finale, most if not every personal interaction between Korra and Asami gains new significance as their relationship subtly progresses from aloof rivals, to close friends that would come to trust each other the most out of the team, and eventually, something more.

I can sort of see why this was deleted, but The Other Wiki is telling me that Konietzko made a statement to this effect in response to the controversy...

"If it seems out of the blue to you, I think a second viewing of the last two seasons would show that perhaps you were looking at it only through a hetero lens."

So... I dunno. I'm certainly not going to touch it. I never actually saw the show, I just remember stumbling on this in a Wiki Walk gods-know-when, and seeing this in the history made me think of it.
