Why on Earth is it 'How Do I Shot Web' not 'How Do I Shoot Web'? The former makes no sense as a sentence.

Hmm... I thought that this made more sense as How do I shotweb? As in, How do I blowdart?

How do I fire this arrow, versus, How do I make a fire-arrow?

However, seeing as how this turns out to be a forum-based meme, I've probably been over-thinking it ;)

While the current page image fits the trope, is it really the best image that there could have been up there? It feels more like pandering in order to advertise the webcomic seen in it, especially with a direct link to it. There are plenty of Spider-Man related examples that would be more familiar to the average viewer, and would just go better in general, I think.

Almost all of the examples and page photos that are used in these pages have links to them. That doesn't make it "pandering" at all. And whether the characters are well known or not, it's clearly illustrating the trope—she is trying to use her new powers, but doesn't know how.

is the title supposed to be mispelled?

Why is it misspelled? Is anyone even going to find this trope when searching the site if A) nobody would call it this on their own and B) the title intentionally uses a misspelling rather than a proper spelling someone would normally type into a search engine?

Seems counter-productive... Just saying.

Because it's named after the meme in the page image, which pretty well encapsulates the meaning of the trope.

Speaking of which, who decided to ditch that image? Can we get it back?

The image is here, but after checking tineye, it's actually a photoshop. Possibly a Forced Meme.

Why is that image not the page image? Pretty much everyone who knows "how do i shot web" knows it from that picture, Is it just website advertising that it's instead some obscure webcomic?

Seems like it. Somebody wants to advertise their favorite webcomic, I would presume.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

No, it's because the curent image demonstrates the trope a lot better than the meme picture.

Is there a reason for the FFIV pothole in the description? If it's a joke, I don't get it.

Seriously, an explanation would be nice. The only reference to this trope on the FFIV page itself is that the main character gets reset to level 1 after getting an upgrade at some point in the game. Hardly notable. The wording (can you use them?) also doesn't show up on that page at all.

Is it just me or is it odd that the image for the trope isn't the actual meme image anymore?
