Are the Stepford Cuckoos "an actual shared consciousness"? Or are they just five-to-three telepaths who are "on the same wavelength" both literally and metaphorically? They can certainly disagree about things.

Would TV Tropes itself qualify in some respects? It seems to at times, actually...

So, if a god, Eldritch Abomination, or a similar supramundane entity by their very nature possesses multiple bodies that are driven by a singular mind/soul/consciousness IE , but said mind/soul/consciousness is explicitly not centralized in any of the bodies (i.e. as long as ANY of the bodies remains "alive", the entity does not die... assuming that they don't simply turn into an incorporeal ghost upon "death" and wait for a new [set of] body[s] to "regenerate"), does that qualify for Hive Mind?

To quote a comment in the archived discussion that I didn't write, could someone explain the difference between "Hive Mind" and "Shared Consciousness," and why they are listed separately? Never mind, figured it out and relabeled them accordingly.
