Like we discussed, even if it can be a legimitate YMMV it has too much potential of being bash bait, as the video game examples show.
There's a reason why it was decided to not have more YMMV stuff like this one. As The Scrappy and other complain-magnet stuff show, it's too much of a hassle to keep these things in check since people insist on using them to complain about characters they don't like, so we're better off not adding more of them at all.

This is a legitimate trope, but two things.
First it REALLY needs to be labeled YMMV.
Second, neither of the Video Games examples really counts, since they refer to small parts of each fandom. (Though as much as I hate to admit it being a fan of hers I could easily see Rosalina going this way soon enough.)
