Now I've never read fanfiction, however I have watched and read extensive amounts of everything else on the subheading and never seen the phenomenom of oral sex and mutual masturbation being excluded - particularly in yaoi where normally the seme gives oral sex before penetration. Hence I'm assuming that the person having written the original was:
- A) talking about fanfiction and forgot to specify,
- B) only has been exposed to slash fanfiction and is assuming that all other gay works do the same, or
- C) they have never read any fanfiction, yaoi, bara or watched any gay movies and are going by idiotic stereotypes (particularly the ones about slash fiction written by 13 year-olds, which, yes, I have heard about).
Either way, can people who don't actually know what they're talking about stop pretending they do while just using the bad stereotypes they are familiar with (I think it's called Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch or something)? It's fucking annoying and forces me to make uncomfortable assumptions about the poster's intelligence and prejudices.

Currently, the list has two sub-categories: Vanilla (that is, intercourse and making out) and BDSM. In the thread there was some mentioning that maybe we should have more categories as well. This might be a good idea for future expansion of the list.
