Should there be a separate straight " coming out" plot trope which talks about the kind of Debuante ball coming out so that some people wouldn't be confused (like I was)

Is there any specific subtrope for the child confessing that they're gay, and the parents then throwing them out? Furthermore, if the child expected the parents to throw them out *

Or was perhaps even hoping for this outcome
