Cut this:
- * When the few dozen surviving Jewish refugees are caught by a German tank and several squads of soldiers, just after having spent hours crossing a marsh and river, the only thing they can do is attempt a Last Stand. Until the protagonist's estranged brother and a couple dozen Jewish soldiers arrive at the last moment to kill the Germans.

Sounds good. If anyone knows what work this refers to, just add it back in with the work title.

The entire Myths and Legend section looks like King in the Mountain, rather than Big Damn Heroes. I want to see if others feel the same way before I remove it.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Zaeed Massani in Mass Effect 2. He actually uses the line "...so we can all be big goddamn heroes..." when he meets Shepard.

Removed non-example:
- Unfortunately and very tragically averted with the UNAMIR mission in Rwanda in 1993-94. Lt. Gen. Dallaire had been asking for reinforcements, supplies, and just about everything else for the UN mission, but nobody stepped in and hundreds of thousands of Tutsis and moderate Hutus died as a result.
