Where in Doctor Who was it established that Amy set up the Van Gogh display? It's not mentioned on her TARDIS Wiki entry, and I'm not sure the timeline fits together.
I'm also not sure "we are to assume" that Hogwarts students arrived by steam train centuries before the Muggle world invented them, and the whole railway thing was invented to cover it up. I assumed that the Hogwarts Express was built to look like a train, at some point in the 19th century, and before that the mode of transport was something else.
