If anyone has the patience to do so, I think it's time to sort a couple pages into separate Funny pages. I know Mumei's had gotten big.

Considering how often everyone plays Holocure, should there be a Holocure section?

There are at least by now several compilations of people reacting to Mumei's Nightmare special.

Refer to here. I've been meaning to do revamp the Group Game Stream one way or another.

I brought it up on Individual Moments, but since it's been about eight months with no response, I'll ask it here: What purpose does that page now serve? All the links it provides can be found on the main index subpage and in the top box of each subpage from there; all the actual written content was moved to the main index/wherever else it was relevant to be. At the very least, it could be removed from those top boxes to make the JP funny moments links line look a lot more cleaner.

So considering all the Hololive meme clips, how do we feel about sorting out a folder for animated skits involving not just Hololive, but if they involve other vtubers? For example, ChegiCH did clips of Botan and Watame as Coyote and Road Runner respectively. Kanaru does skits of not just Hololive but Nijisanji and VOMS Project as well. Kanaru example

The EN branch has fully embraced the VR Chat, having done enough streams now, that I'm wondering if we should hard split into a page.

Right now, all the VR Chat streams are listed under the "Other streams" folder on the Non-Gaming Streams. While I do believe there are enough examples that it should have its own folder, I also believe that the potential for more examples will grow in the future, and it will probably need its own page anyway.

At the very least, the NGS page itself is now starting to grow large enough that it's experiencing slowdown/lag when trying to type entries into the page, like many TV tropes pages are. That's my first sign that the page itself is starting to get up there in size.

Sounds like a good idea. A HoloEN VR page with folders for each big event they’ve done like Halloween, Christmas, Amelia/Robocco.

At the risk of sounding pedantic, a comment about linking the source streams should be added, given the multitude of unsourced entries.

Considering at least each girl has done Henry Stickmin, We're gonna need to do a new section for the game. One for JP (and depending on which Generation, too) and one for EN as well as IN.

The pages we made for specific games are for collaborations. As it stands, the game doesn't occupy a lot of space on each talent's entry.

nuked the spoilers on subpages since it's part of wiki policy (Spoilers Off)

the ouija board """""spoilers""""" on the hololive EN page may or may not have been the impetus for this

Would it be possible to give each girl their individual pages? Because I think this page will increase to the point it'll get bigger.

right now i think it'll probably be better served by folders, but that's just me

only time i've ever seen a Funny namespace page get split is on the Vinesauce page, because it goes through 10+ years worth of multiple streamers' content

I'm thinking it'd probably be a good idea to make a separate funny page for the Holomyth's playthrough of Hunter: The Vigil. Calli and Kiara's tutorial session has already provided some great laughs.

The Minecraft and Among Us funny pages are for collaborations only, right? Or can individuals playing with their fanbases go on there as well?

If they're for collabs, I'd like to suggest clarifying that either on the top of the pages or in the headers.

The original purpose of the Hololive Game Streams folder/page and its sub-pages are for collabs. Individual talents playing with their fanbases, despite not being "individual" anymore, is still classified as "individual moments" as the syntax for those pages is content that take place within a single channel, without any other vtubers taking part.

Hololive Game Streams has also been appropriately renamed to Funny.Hololive Group Game Streams to make this more clear.

Continuing off from the ATT thread, Kappaclystica, the Hologra episodes titles are provided by hololive's official Twitter account in English on the day they release a new episode. Several episode thumbnails do not have any text to them, so I really don't know why you're basing the claim that the thumbnails contain the original title of the episodes.

The example you used (Polka borking Korone's handheld) has "先輩の〇〇を隠蔽したい!" as its title on Youtube, but does not translate into "A Perfect Cover-Up" as you claim. Meanwhile, the hololive Twitter account has the episode number and the title in English; this can't purely be promotional.

I'll reiterate: even the official Japanese Twitter posts the same promotional picture featuring the episode number and title as the English one.

I don't really care about the issue enough to worry about it. At the end of the day it's not a big deal.

Going by that tweet, it's called 'Subaru Hotpot'. Which is strange because Subaru isn't even in the episode. I'll have more to say when I wake up later. But in any event I don't actually care that much.

Ok, I didn't know about this whole 'incident' here at Funny/Hololive (I don't follow the hololive Funny pages), but here's what I think:

@Ano Baka Desu made a point on the ATT thread saying that there are two sets of names for every Hologra episode (one on Youtube and one on Twitter), and indeed there doesn't seem to be a clear consensus as to which one is correct. While I do understand why they prefer the Twitter episode name since they have the episode number, there are some things I would like to point out:

  • Normally, when there are multiple different releases of the same thing (in this case, episode title), the most recent usually takes precedence over the older ones. In this case, the Youtube title is released with the episode itself, which is always one day AFTER (yes, really. Compare the dates if you don't believe me) the episode's associated Tweet, so there's always the possibility of the title within the Tweet being a Working Title, i.e. they haven't decided on the final name of the episode yet at the time of the Tweet. In fact, there are MANY indications suggesting that this is the case, for example:
    • 53 - Mystery Breakfast. Ultimately, this episode has nothing to do with "breakfast", making "Hansel and Gretel in 60 Seconds" a more accurate title.
    • 66 - Caltrops. Caltrops are just the plot device for the episode, and in the end it turns out that they aren't even caltrops either!
    • 71 - Radio control. Again, this has nothing to do with the episode itself.
    • 74 - Triangle. Despite the triangle being the plot device this episode, "Triangle" by itself is still a damn confusing title.
    • 81 - Heater. Episode is named "Heater" despite no "device that produces heat" ever making an appearance.
    • 87 - Beam. What beam? Why is it so vague?
    • 89 - Coffee. Naming an episode just "coffee" sounds really weird ngl.
    • 91 - Lamy. Usually you don't name an episode after just someone's name unless the episode dives into the character/the series itself in a deep/philosophical way or whatever... which I'm pretty sure is not the case for that particular episode.
    • 93 - Bloom,. What's with the comma here...?
    • 95 - Clean up. Episode is named "Clean up" despite it only being the set-up for the episode to happen; doesn't even describe what happens in the episode itself.
    • 98 - Summons. Episode is named "Summons" despite no "summon" being implied or ever taking place on-screen...

Not saying that this proves that the Youtube title is the "canon" name, but there's almost too much 'evidence' that points to the Twitter titles being Working Title, thus being beta/temporary.

  • It's true that "先輩の〇〇を隠蔽したい!" (title on Youtube) doesn't directly translate into "A Perfect Cover-Up". But this doesn't disprove the legitimacy of the Youtube English titles either; this looks to me that they are just localizing the Youtube English title instead of going for a direct translation. This isn't an inherently bad thing; they do this all the time with the subtitles in the Hologra episodes. And if you ask me? Skillful localization beats direct translations in almost all cases.

  • Using the Youtube English title also has the advantage of being directly searchable in the Youtube search bar. Why is this important when we can link the episode in question in the entry? Because. People. DON'T. LINK. THEIR. SOURCES!!! Yes, I'm still mad that so many editors are still not providing a single source in their entry, even when what they're talking about are rather serious tropics or bold claims.

  • Similarly, people who write about the Hologra episodes and DO name the episode will most likely copy the Youtube title rather than the Twitter one, since it's directly on the source, so there's no need to search for what the title is in the Tweet, which would have make things more complicated.

  • This is just my personal opinion, but I actually prefer the Youtube titles; most of the Twitter ones seem too basic for my liking tbh (especially the recent ones, where almost all of them are just one or two words). Also, we could just add the episode number to the Youtube titles, if you feel that it's very important to have.

Well, there you go. I want to make it clear that I'm not on anyone's side here, I'm just stating my honest opinion on this issue.

In any case, I plan on making a Funny.Hololive Holo No Graffiti page, which is why I'd like everyone to be the same page. As of now, a compromise (by using Polka's episode) would be like this:

  • Episode 97: To The Sky ("I want to cover up Senpai!" )
    • [insert funny text 1]
    • [insert funny text 2]
    • etc.

Yeah, if you're going to include both names then there's no problem, especially on a Funny/HololiveHoloNoGraffiti page. My concerns were primarily to do with removing the Youtube names (the identifier if you will) altogether, so this would solve the issue.
